Prepare your meals in the compact, open-plan kitchen and enjoy the short distances within the flat.



Step out onto the small, sheltered terrace and take a seat at the garden table. Here you can enjoy your morning coffee or wind down the day outdoors in a relaxed atmosphere. Use the barbecue for a simple evening meal and savour the seaside atmosphere of the surroundings. There is another seating area right by the entrance, whilst the flat coastal landscape, with its heathland and wide open skies, begins just a few steps away.



From Havneby, explore the diverse island of Rømø. Watch the ferries and fishing boats at the harbour or take a stroll along the coast. Drive to Sønderstrand and experience one of the island’s exceptionally wide sandy beaches. Visit the Kommandørgården, part of the Danish National Museum, and learn more about Rømø’s maritime history. You can also explore the heathland and dunes of the Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site on foot or by bike, and take a trip to the popular Lakolk Beach on the west coast.
