"As other reviews have said the property is old and creaky and furnishings and carpets could do with being updated. The hotel is right next to the castle, pubs, restaurants and-supermarkets and is a great location. "This hotel is in need of some serious TLC. Good location and the cooked breakfast was good for £12.50. Shower was dire and the room was very warm. When we asked if we could have fan we were told there was one in the wardrobe, that was a fan heater and made more noise than it did move air.
