"We pulled in at 5pm and were promptly greeted by Bill (Judie's husband). He checked us in and gave us a brief tour of the building and the farm. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and the bathroom with the slipper claw foot tub was very nice. It was modern but maintained much of the character we appreciate. Breakfast was excellent, and included an impromptu lesson from Bill on (re)construction of the premises. Unfortunately Judie was under the weather, so we didn't get a chance to meet...

"This place is unbelievable. If you are looking for a relaxing, quaint, quiet and romantic weekend with your other half, this is it. Nestled in the countryside near Staunton on an actual working farm, this B&B hits all the requirements. "This property is stunningly beautiful. A wedding venue with lovely lodging. Super comfortable bed in a nice room. Nothing negative to say. We were the only couple in the building until about bedtime and someone else came in. We heard them arrive to the room next door, and no noise after that. The town of Staunton is also a sweet, contemporary mountain town. Do stay here if you get the chance. "

"Nice clean room, recently renovated. Friendly staff. There was renovations going on but did not disturb us. The front flood lights were a little obnoxious, streaming in the window even with blackout curtains closed. The breakfast had a number of offerings. The usual eggs and sausage. Would have liked to have seen some bacon or premade omelets. All in all a great stay. We will return."
