"We chose this location by proximity to the lake. It was clean and well appointed and did not disappoint (other than we didn’t catch any fish). Home was well stocked with necessity item including cookware which was important for us as we cooked our own meals. It also had dishwasher and detergent along with washer and dryer and laundry soap. It was a quiet peaceful location and I would definitely stay there again!"

"I rented the Cabin to have some solitude, peace and quiet. It was all of that. The cabin is clean, quaint, beautiful, and set up really nice. The view of the lake from the Cabin and front porch is spectacular. You have all need for cooking and place settings. I would make one suggestion, is to place a microwave if possible? I hiked the Skyline trail on the Cabot Trail, it was amazing. I saw a huge Rabbit on the lawn one evening. I videoed two amazing birds on the Post that holds the flag. On a...

"Cottage is in bachelor format with basically one large room. Perfect for my wife and I, maybe not two couples. Place was spotless and possibly the best equipped rental I have ever been in. Paper towel, tissue, several rolls of TP, toothbrushes, floss sticks, plenty of dishes for several meals before running the dishwasher , lots of towels including additional for the hot tub. I will stay here again and recommend to friends."

"Everything about our stay was incredible. The home worked perfect for our family and inlaws. No one wanted to leave after our 5 night stay. The home was beautifully decorated and we head everything we needed and more. Mike was a great host and very accommodating which we greatly appreciated traveling across the country and visiting Cape Breton for the first time. We will be back and look forward to staying in this home again."

"We had a fantastic week - Aileen was a great host - her thoughtfulness, hospitality and attention to detail were clear from the moment we arrived! The cottage had everything we needed and the view of the lake was beautiful!! The area is great for biking, kayaking, hiking and touring but also a great place to relax - we will definitely be back! "What a wonderful spot to get away from it all. This cottage is in a very private location. It has a good bit of land for outdoor activities. A new set of stairs leads down to the waterfront.
