"While this is an older facility, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and lastly it is a park at the door motel. No long hallways. The facility is very near the Cumbres & Toltec Railway station and it is convenient to restaurants in Antonito. Nice owners. "
"Decorations are unique and interesting. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast variety was great. Large bathtub was a challenge to get in and out for senior people. Didn't know all rooms required going upstairs with no elevator available."
"We have stayed here several times and it’s always been clean and comfortable and has plenty of coffee pods! The owners are great if there’s a problem(we had a problem with our credit card and they were most patient).

"The breakfast was awesome! They cooked our eggs and the waffles were fantastic. Our room was clean and we had a view of the river. The only complaint I have is our niece and her family stopped by for a few minutes while we were out by the river and a guy came out very rude asking if we were guests of the hotel. He could have been polite about it. Will we stay here again…yes"
"Gostamos muito do hotel. Os funcionários são extremamente atenciosos. Os rapazes do Ski Vallet nota mil! Gostamos muito da estrutura. Quarto amplo, cama confortável, banheira e box separados. O serviço de vallet também é incluso e cuidaram super bem do nosso carro. O pessoal da recepção também é muito atencioso. Nos deram boas recomendações de restaurante. A única coisa que nos incomodou foi o cheiro que ficava no corredor. Não sabemos se foi porque estávamos no andar no restaurante ou próximo...

"What I loved, the beds and shower I miss already! The Ponderosa is currently undergoing a transformation and our room was clean with all new furnishings and windows. Small kitchenette with full size refrigerator. We walked everywhere but Mike can rent you a golf cart at a very reasonable price if you need. Food choices were all within a six or seven minute walk for us. Very quiet at night with no disturbances. We definitely will return. Mike was attentive and easy to reach. "
"We had the best time at Edelweiss Lodge and Spa! We went to Taos Ski Valley to hike to Wheeler Peak. Helen took care of us the entire time, checking on us on our hike and setting up massages while we were hiking down the mountain. The only negative was there was no air conditioning so it was a little warm in our room. Helen did come through though by getting us a fan. Overall, it was an amazing stay and I would highly recommend Edelweiss!"

The included breakfast had numerous choices and the fruit was fresh and wonderful. The lodge was within walking distance of the plaza with many shops, restaurants and galleries. "Everything about this was wonderful. The service was personal and exceptional. Lucas, the manager was first rate. The property is nestled among cottonwoods just SE of downtown. It was quiet and close. Our room was spacious and lovely with a courtyard garden area, dining area, fireplace, coffee, fridge and AC. The bathroom was huge, beautiful and spa like.
