Conveniently located in the hills of Rileyville, Meadowlark Cabin is just minutes from the towns of Luray and Front Royal and 30 minutes to many popular attractions such as Shenandoah National Park, George Washington National Forest, the Shenandoah River, andĀ Luray Caverns.

While offering seclusion and relaxation, Meadowlark Cabin still offers all the comforts of home. Inside, you'll find a fully-equipped open kitchen that flows into the dining area and living room complete with wifi internet, streaming television, and a cozy stone fireplace. From the spacious open living area, youā€™ll have a great view of the large yard plus astounding views of the Massanutten Mountains through the massive, beautiful window wall.

Rest up from a day of enjoying the great outdoors in the gorgeous, master bedroom loft, gazing out the large chalet style windows or in a chair on the large deck overlooking Kennedyā€™s Peak Mountain top. The cabin also features a bunk style room with large laundry closet on the ground floor, and a third bedroom with a king size bed in the basement with a full bathroom, private deck of its own, and large 7 person hot tub.

With wood flooring, unique stylish details, cathedral ceiling in the living area, and tile floors in the modern, fully-furnished bathrooms, Meadowlark will in no way disappoint. Outside, there's a gas grill for grilling, fire pit for campfires and roasting marshmallows, and ping pong table/dart board in the garage for endless hours of fun!

While staying at Meadowlark Cabin, enjoy local amenities including exploring the Luray Caverns and the Garden Maze, hiking and mountain biking in the George Washington and Shenandoah National Forests, enjoy a road trip along the scenic Skyline Drive, Blue Ridge Parkway and the Shenandoah River State Park, fishing at Lake Arrowhead and nearby Shenandoah River, and much more. Enjoy nearby activities including fishing, hiking, biking, horseback riding, golf, canoeing, kayaking, tubing, antique shopping, wildlife observation, restaurants, summer swimming, and winter skiing.

We welcome you to bring your own sheet sets and bath towels or would be happy to provide linens at request for an extra fee. Comforters and pillows are provided.

The Property had all the necessities that we could want! We loved the peace and quiet and enjoyed the great view from the deck. While off the main road a bit, it didn't take long to get to the park or into town. Overall, we have a fabulous time!

Beautiful cabin

Three bedrooms. One in a basement ground floor level with sitting room but no TV there. Main floor has small bedroom. Third bedroom is loft. All levels had a bathroom. Nice deck and outdoor fire pit.

Beautiful Seclusion!

We had a great time at Jackieā€™s place! The property is beautiful and secluded so you can get away from life for awhile! Communication was awesome- Jackie always answered within mere minutesā€¦ The fire pit and hot tub are great!

I don't impress easily but I was with this home!

I can't say enough about the ease of making reservations for this stay and the follow-up communication that we received from the property manager Jackie! The home was beautiful, clean, and had all we needed to enjoy a week long celebration of our 50th Anniversary! The hot tub and Jacuzzi was one of my husbandā€™s favorite amenities. The spectacular mountain views were breathtaking and I couldn't get enough of them. I highly recommend this home for your next vacation spot!

Serenity in the Shenandoah Valley

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Meadowlark Cabin. It was a great mixture of rustic with modern amenities away from the busy city. Beautiful country roads surround the cabin, small towns, and vineyards. It was a great space to reconnect with the family and rest before beginning the new year!

Great place to stay!

My family of six stayed for a few nights prior to Thanksgiving. We visited Luray and hiked part of Old Rag. This property was perfect for our needs. Clean, inviting, cozy and just a little off the beaten path (but still close enough to pop out and grab a pizza and a drink at RPK). We would definitely stay here again!

Veterans getaway

I looked for the ideal location to have a Veteranā€™s day retreat and I finally decided on this cabin. It was truly everything I was looking for. My favorite thing was the ability to enjoy a cozy wood burning fire inside or outside. It was/is November and not too cold yet to enjoy a fire outside. The host were beyond kind and accessible. The town and shopping are just minutes away. It really is a great sanctuary to detach from the city hustle. Thank you very much!

Loved the cabin, great distribution and my kids had a blast. Perfect for a trip to Luray and to enjoy the view of the blue ridge mountains My only recommendation would be some stronger lights on the dining table. It was too dim at night to play board games

Great Space!

Two adult couples had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. We loved the views from the large deck, cooking in the nice kitchen, and great bonfires in the field at night! We even got some ping pong in! The manager was easy to communicate with and we would definitely stay here again.

Birthday Weekend Celebration

Each year, we go to the Mountains with our Daughter, Son In Law and Grandchildren to celebrate their birthday. We try to use it as a time to unplug and enjoy each other, without electronics. This house was perfect for that. Although, there was internet access, we didn't use it. The house was comfortable. In fact, the beds were so comfortable, we slept later than we ever do. Plenty of dishes, silverware and cookware to accommodate us. The house is pretty isolated, but close enough to restaurants to pop out for dinner if desired. Thank you for letting us rent your property. I would recommend.

Gorgeous Home

Gorgeous home in a peaceful location. The house seems to be new or recently remodeled. We enjoyed spending time on the back deck, facing the mountains and watching the sunset. The owner even provided a welcome gift, which was a little package of the ingredients to make sā€™mores. We had fun sitting around the fire pit in the evening, looking at the stars. This home was a perfect 10 out of 10.

Beautiful mountain getaway

The house is beautiful and the jacuzzi spotless! Kitchen & family room were nice and spacious. We enjoyed hikes to Maryā€™s rock and Old Rag was tough! (a 50 min drive but worth it) we also went to a winery & brewery. Definitely recommend. We were there 3 nights and all wished we had a couple more days.

Our stay in the Shenandoah Valley

My spouse and daughters enjoyed three lovely nights and days at the Meadowlark cabin in Rileyville, Virginia this past week. The cabin was very well appointed and immaculately clean. Exactly as advertised. The cabin was not full of bric-a-brac as rentals are often full of bits and pieces of furniture and decorative items. Well designed and well appointed as noted. There are nearby properties but you cannot see them from the cabin. When you are there, you feel (because you are) quite secluded. I suppose we loved most the views and the air early in the morning out on the deck. And then the night sky full of stars -- too much light polution in the cities. We ate on the property although one can access cafes relatively close in Luray and Front Royal. And of course there are plenty of things to do nearby from ziplining to tubing, canoes etc. It was a perfect break for us. Jackie, the property manager, managed everything just right. Attentive when we reached out with questions but not intrusive. Perfect. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Beautiful Property

Amazing property set back in woods but close enough to local stores and markets to get things. We really enjoyed the deck watching birds, rabbits and seen a family of deer! The peace and quiet is just what we needed to unwind and relax.
