"Bobbi was wonderful throughout our time there at the Sanctuary. We had 46 people staying there for our family reunion and it was amazing! The kitchen was fully stocked. We had 2 large gathering places and the beds were comfortable. Checkout was smooth too. We liked it so much that we will be going back for our next family reunion."

"Very nice cabin and property. Teresa and Brad were great, 3 nice areas to relax outside, and the pontoon rental was so nice to have available!The cabin, bedrooms, living room and downstairs family room were also very nice! 2nd fridge & freezer & kitchenette was great. Clean bathrooms.A nice vacation home!!Thank you Teresa and Brad!"

"This cabin has an interesting layout. They really made good use of the space. For a small family this cabin is great! The lake is so close to the cabin with a cute fire pit nearby. We rented the pontoon for one day of our stay and were impressed with the cleanliness of the lake. Communicating with Dave was easy and it seemed like he really wanted us to have a fun weekend. I’d recommend this cabin if you’re looking for a relaxing time. "

"Only issue was lack of AC on 90 degree days. I should have realized that ahead of booking. Great spot for spring/fall, just not ideal in such high temps. "

"This is an amazing property and a great stay. I always try to leave something to be improved on however: There is a small hornet/wasp nest somewhere under the stairs down to the lake, near the shed. Several people were stung. But it was not a constant problem so the nest must be small, but probably worth removing. Also, there was not enough toilet paper (at least that we could find) to cover all bathrooms so we had to buy some. But like I said overall very very nice and would definitely...

"We had so much fun staying at this cabin. There was plenty of things to do right there but also a lot of things within short driving distance. We loved being able to bring our dogs who had so much fun as well. It was such a peaceful getaway but still had access to WiFi and air conditioning. We enjoyed kayaking, campfires, smores, fishing and swimming. My only complaint is that the vacation wasn’t long enough! Would definetly love to stay here again! "

"Stayed here for an anniversary vacation, and enjoyed every minute. Home was clean, inviting and comfortable. Deck overlooking the water was a favorite place to sit. Hill to the dock was a little steeper than I thought from photos, but we made do. Fish cleaning station is a nice touch. Kitchen had everything we needed. Wonderful shower with great water pressure.(We all know we've stayed in places that was not the case.) Would highly recommend."

"We were here for a family wedding with various family members coming and going — some for an afternoon visit, some for overnight. Our 89-year-old matriarch even stayed for one night. It accommodated everyone’s needs nicely and was in a great location for easy access to restaurants, the movie theater and the wedding held in a nearby small town."

"We had a wonderful experience at this Property on Lake Chetek for a family reunion. We had 21 guests ranging in age from 4-74 and everyone was comfortable in the 8 bedrooms. There is 1 king bedroom on the main level which is great for those that cannot do stairs.All of rooms were clean and I appreciated that there were no strong odors from cleaning products. "Communication was very poor with owner. Didn’t return messages months prior to trip. Had a hard time getting into property due to lack of response. But eventually got the code for entrance. Great cabin in the woods, very spacious for an entire family. Beds were Tempur-pedic which were very comfortable. Had a mix of modern and cool mid century style throughout the cabin with a lot of charm. Fishing was OK for us. There IS a marina in town that we rented a fishing boat from and we conveniently...

"If you’re looking for a very nice quiet cabin this is the place. Had everything we needed, owners were very accommodating. Was able to dock our boat and was close to the cabin. Loved it!!"

"We definitely found a hidden gem with this one. it was a last minutw booking over thebbusy 4th of July weekend and we stumbled across this location. I think we got really lucky to find such a great place with little notice. the view and location on the river was fantastic through the big windows or the cute play house and play set in the back. Plenty of room for our dogs to play there too.inside there was ample room for 4 adults, we even had guests come for dinner! we felt so comfortable...
