"My mom and I (and dogs) were looking for a nice place to stay during our annual drive around The Thumb of Michigan. We chose this location due to its proximity to a specific restaurant (lol), and we're so glad we did! The property was beautiful, and Darcy was an excellent host."

"We had an amazing time staying here! The place was extremely clean & it was so nice having full bathrooms in each of the rooms. The deck/pool area was perfect for grilling out & being outside all day. The hot tub & sauna were also very nice! Mosquitos were bad at night so we couldn’t be outside long but that is to be expected in July. Really cool experience taking the ferry over to the island & would definitely come back here!"

"Mike the owner was great and lives just down the road if any issues arise…he’s super nice and helpful…place is a great location for fishing…the dock was the best part with easy access to shore power…Mike has all the bumpers and rope already in place for you…smaller boats can slip under the bridge in the canal next to the place and hit the bay in just minutes…parking is tight for one truck and trailer but otherwise a great place…several good local eatery’s close by…you can even Doordash to the...

"This was my third time staying here and once again my friend and I were very pleased. There is very little you need to bring for a stay here. There are your normal items plus coolers, beach towels, outdoor chairs, and more. And if it’s not there, I’m sure Mike will get it for you - he lives next door. "Seven of us stayed there. My girlfriend drove there. My buddy and his family drove there. My daughter and I arrived by boat. Having a boathouse was very cool that I didn't have to cover my boat. The view was amazing. Upstairs master bedroom is very roomy. There's a dollar store and a Kroger within a mile of the property that has everything you can get food, toys supplies. "I needed a place to stay for a month while awaiting my new home after closing while the tenant stayed to clean and get moved out. The place was clean, comfortable and very quiet. Peaceful and much better than staying in a noisy extended stay hotel. The price was also absolutely right with a discount for extended stay. Very grateful that I found Wendy and her nice apartment."

My family & I all had the best time reconnecting and making memories in a beautiful setting on the lake:) My mom had just passed not long ago and she raised my brother & I here in Fort Gratiot and a sister from Georgia came as well!
