Enjoy the award winning Middleton Lodge (2 miles) with its Michelin Starred restaurant, gardens and Spa. Spend a day exploring the historic Georgian market town of Richmond (3 miles) with its Medieval Castle overlooking the River Swale. Stroll along the River Swale to the evocative ruins of Easby Abbey (4 miles), followed by a delicious slice of Yorkshire parkin and a hot cup of tea at a cosy local cafe. Barnard Castle and the Bowes Museum (10 miles), Reeth (14 miles), Northallerton and Harrogate are all within easy striking distance.
