Beautiful rustic, yet sophisticated house built in 2008. It is on a large wooded lot on the main channel of the lake with a really big water view. The best sunset view is from the upper screened-in porch, with the trees silhouetted in between. Blue herons, cranes, and many other birds and wildlife. Hike to the dam on a trail through the woods; enjoy sitting on the dock or swimming and boating off the dock in the summer.

State of the art kitchen with a gas range, double convection ovens, magnificent granite counter tops, and a natural stone bar with soft lighting. Dining area connects the kitchen to the den, which has a huge stone fireplace, comfortable Bob Timberlake furnishings, and a 63' high definition plasma television with surround sound. Wet-bar in the den has a built-in ice maker, wine rack, and handy sink. Screened windows open in front and back to allow a wonderful cross breeze if desired.

Off the kitchen is a screened-in porch with rustic rocking chairs and tables. The huge deck, connected to the kitchen and den, is equipped with a gas grill and a small table for outside meals. Steps lead you downstairs to a raised wooded walkway to the dock.

Every room has an a full view of the water. You feel like you are in a tree house, which is where it got the name Tarheel Tree house! The main master bedroom has a large walk-in shower with dual shower heads.

Three bedrooms: 2 masters with queen beds, 1 bedroom with 2 queen beds. The beds are made for comfort with pillow-top mattresses and homestyle quilts. Bedrooms are decorated for with artwork and charming furniture.

The detached garage has a playroom above it with pool and foosball tables, along with a queen-size futon. It is not air-conditioned or heated, so it is most comfortable when temperatures allow for the window and door to be open for a cross-breeze.

There is one twin-sized foam mattress that can be moved to any room in the house for sleeping.
