"It truly is a beautiful property. Know that it is significantly tucked away on a tertiary road. The host's assistants (Noemi and Corrado) are responsive and kind. We stayed during a heat wave, so the house was always warm. There are no fans and no A/C. We left the windows open at night but there are no screens on the window, so... bugs. "A beautiful modern home turned into a small boutique hotel. The owner waited late for my arrival and was incredibly gracious. The room was impeccable and super comfortable. The free breakfast consisted of croissants, cereals, yogurt, coffee/espresso and homemade pies. Absolutely delicious."

"This has been an amazing stay with the nature, swimming pool and even the room. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Although it is a small hotel, they have facilities to serve large group I guess. We feel like it was like haven. The hotel is a bit outside of the city though. However, they also provide as needed shuttle/car service with a charge. Only one thing I would suggest is to ask for the charge of the shuttle service you take in advance so that you know what they are going to charge you. Taxi service seems to be expensive in the area overall. Also it is hard to get a taxi. However, they could provide ride as needed and without delay. Highly recommend!"

"I had the privilege of staying at La Tavernetta for 11 days this past July. It's an exceptionally well run family business where each family member contributes to the overall satisfaction of the guests. We were well received by all family members particularly Davide and Antonietta. The Hotel also has a restaurant and pool. The room was very clean and air conditioned. The pool area is very very nice. Davide is everywhere making sure that guests receive the best possible service. The food at the restaurant was exceptional. The breakfast was also very good. Antonietta is always present. The grounds are very well maintained. I will definitely return as we enjoyed our stay very much. My son loved it. It felt like we were visiting family. A big shout out to the Marinelli family. "The location of the apartment was excellent- walking distance to the city center where shopping and restaurants are. The downside was the host did not speak English. There was a suggested interpreter, but she was not available when we checked in. The instructions to GET the keys was accurate BUT nothing in the instructions given after we had the keys, that the apartment was actually on the second floor, that we had to take the stairs. ( the building had three levels NO elevator) Fortunately some resident family was in the lobby and helped us locate the rental apartment. The other problem was we couldn’t get the washing machine to work, We were not able to get a response from the host or the interpreter. We had been traveling for the previous week and badly needed to have our clothes cleaned. There were five family members in all.We had to handwash what we could in the sink and hang them to dry. If there was better communication, there would not have been any problems."
