Luxury Cabin in the Woods With Hot Tub near creek


The design of Komorebi House is inspired by travels to Japan and a love for NW design. Komorebi combines luxury with all the comforts of home to create the perfect place to unplug from the world and enjoy the simple elegance of a cabin-in-the-woods.

The Space - The Komorebi House is a wonderful romantic destination or the perfect place to unwind. The bedroom offers guests a king-size, pillow top bed with layers of textured quilts and throws to sink into. The linear fireplace will heat up the bedroom on cold winter nights while you flip through Netflix, or just listen to music. The wall-mounted TV in the bedroom is the perfect height to view while in bed. Individual pendant and overhead lighting can be controlled from each side of the bed. There are two USB connects per beside for your devices. Once you crawl into bed, you won't want to get back out again.

The open concept kitchen has everything you need to dine-in. Induction cooktop with hood, open shelving for easy access to the essentials, microwave, large fridge with freezer, dishwasher , oven and coffee bar with complimentary Keurig pods ranging in boldness as well as hot chocolate and an assortment of teas. Traditional coffee maker and grinder also available.

As you walk out the back door you will enter the courtyard area where the hot tub is located. While the courtyard is still a work- in- progress, we think you'll enjoy the Zen-like atmosphere with a beautiful forest as the backdrop. Relax in the hydrotherapy spa after a dy on the mountain or out adventuring.

Just steps beyond the hot tub you can follow the path down to Henry Creek where time stands still. It's a wonderful place to enjoy the soothing sounds of water before you start your day.

Amazing property! We had some wild weather and a power outage overnight during our stay. Thankfully the heat is gas and we were able to stay warm throughout the power outage. Power was restored in a timely manner. We will definitely return to this property for another getaway.

One of the best VRBO experiences we have had! Place was exactly what we hoped - secluded & private, yet great location to get to trails. Walking distance to the best little coffee shops, perfect hot tub was ready to go for us after a day of hiking, and all spaces were clean & neat. Highly recommend!

We had a nice peaceful stay. There were some problems with the hot tub but host was quick to resolve them and refunded part of our stay to compensate. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with modern appliances and amenities.

I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. IMO, This luxury cabin is the gold standard of vacation rentals. I could live here; it’s a true gem in the wilderness with the grandeur of a rich lifestyle. Great amenities; elegant, luxurious and a hot tub supreme. Owner is very responsive and location perfect for hiking nearby. We unequivocally recommend this over anything else. Love, love, loved this beautiful designed home in the forest foothills around Mount Hood

We absolutely loved our stay at Komorebi House! The cabin was spotless, cozy, and so comfortable that most of the time we didn’t even want to leave. The jacuzzi was amazing and made our honeymoon feel extra special. Our host’s recommendations were perfect — we enjoyed Al Forno Pizzeria, the Timberline Lodge, and the Ramona Falls trail, all of which made our trip even more memorable. Overall, it was the perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to come back!

Excellent!

Very nice and well equipped cozy cabin perfect for a romantic getaway. Interior is all new, very clean and well taken care of. Although located in a neighborhood it feels very secluded even while enjoying the backyard and hot tub.

I don't have enough kind words to describe the wonderful, beautiful cabin and all of the detail care and presentation that was available to us. the setting, the hot tub, the small creek. We had a great mini away time that really counted. We're so fortunate to be only a couple hours away and we certainly would like to return in the spring.

Perfect for a romantic getaway! The style and cleanliness of this place was top notch. We didnt want to leave the hot tub or comfy robes provided, but the location offers short drives to everything you can find on Mt Hood! Will definitely be staying here again.

Mountain Paradise

My wife and I had the most amazing weekend! The home was beautiful and comfy, and my wife especially loved all the decor. It was the perfect space to get away, relax and recharge. The host went out of his way to communicate with us and was extremely gracious when we accidentally brought home a pillow. All in all the perfect getaway. Couldn’t have asked for anything better!

Beautiful home!

We had a fantastic stay. House is really lovely, and well outfitted with everything you need to make yourself comfortable. Location is great-- quiet and peaceful, but also within walking distance of a store, restaurant and coffee stand, not mention a nice hike and fun wandering in mountain neighborhoods. The perfect place for a relaxing weekend away!

Amazing!

I have stayed in a few different rentals in the Mount hood area over the years, and this place is hands down the best one! It feels very private, the hot tub was immaculate, and the space was very luxurious feeling. It felt like staying in a 5 star hotel. It was very well appointed. I was shocked to find that in addition to a hair dryer there was also a straight iron provided! There is a little stream behind the house with a bench that is very peaceful. It was a perfect place for a couple, there is a futon as well but I feel like it would be a bit cramped with more adults. It would be a perfect honeymoon rental. I can see why this place books out so far in advance. All in all an amazing stay!

Fantastic space

This cozy cabin is absolutely perfect for a couple's getaway! While being close to the highway and nearby town, it felt secluded and private. The creek is so close and the bench makes for a perfect spot to have your morning coffee. 10/10

Beautiful home!

We would love to try out a stay again. Unfortunately, 2 hours after we got to the house the power went out due to a wind/rain storm. We stuck it out for the night hoping the power would come back on, but when it didn’t, we drove to where there was cell service and contacted the owner. He was great, so apologetic for a situation out of his control and refunded our stay. We would love to book another stay, maybe in the spring g or summer.

Perfect Mountain Retreat

My wife and I stayed here for our 10 yr anniversary trip and it was perfect. David has payed attention to all the details, and house is actually larger than it appears in pictures. Not far from beautiful hikes. Would definitely come back!

Relaxing retreat in the woods

Such a great place! Very relaxing. Great design on the newly remodeled cabin. The hot tub was clean and perfect temperature for soaking after all the great hikes in the area. Really convenient to get to from Portland. Loved our stay!
