I am writing to share my disappointment following a recent stay at your property, which I booked through Expedia.
Unfortunately, the condition of the public areas and pools was unacceptable. There appeared to be no cleaning staff present during the day, and even after dinner, the pool areas were not cleaned properly. A persistent unpleasant smell was noticeable around the pool areas. The children’s pool had visible green algae growth, which raised serious concerns about hygiene and safety.
At the pool bars, I observed that glasses were merely rinsed, not properly washed, before being reused. This is not only unhygienic but also entirely below the standard expected from any hotel, let alone one marketed as a resort.
Additionally, upon check-in, I was informed of a tourist tax that needed to be paid. This charge was never communicated during the booking process. When I contacted Expedia customer service, they were unable to provide any explanation, which was frustrating and unprofessional. This lack of transparency is unacceptable, and as a result, I will not be booking through Expedia again.
The only truly positive aspect of my stay was the hotel staff, who were consistently polite, helpful, and clearly working very hard under pressure. They seemed short-staffed, likely due to cost-cutting by management. If I were in charge of this property, I would seriously reconsider the current management team, particularly the Head of Departments, as there appears to be a lack of prop
