"Hillside lodge is a beautiful cabin/lodge with stunning surroundings. My partner and I only stayed 1 night but could happily do a week (if you like quiet) Self check in and out so no need to find any staff, pulled straight up to the lodge with ease. Lodge was clean and tidy with everything ready that we had ordered. If you’re not very ‘spritely’ we wouldn’t recommend sleeping up top due to the steps to ascend but nevertheless a stunning nights stay. Sadly we had a cloudy evening so didn’t get...

"Me and my partner loved staying here, the views were amazing especially waking up to dozens of sheep right outside our door. Buck Barn was well looked after and had everything we needed for our stay, the hot tub was incredible too, the only thing i could fault is that there were lots of flies around the area and a lot of them ended up in the cabin but if you keeps doors and windows closed it should be fine."

"The views are stunning, the local town is lovely. The first look of badgers view we were so excited. Then we entered to hut. It didn’t smell clean, the floors were dirty luckily there was a broom there so I could sweep up the last guests dirt. The kitchen is in much need of a make over, the sides are in awful condition, the fridge is cracked, the floor is all over the place, it’s starting to dip. The floor boards are starting to come apart this is due to the damp. The whole kitchen looked dirty....

"Good place to stay, very clean. Ideal location, near town center. Very quiet, all had a good nights sleep. Great views from rear of property. We would stay again if we were cycling in the area again.The host is close at hand if required, (lives next door)."
