Dear Guest, We find this review unusual. As we explained there was a problem with the water system in the whole area - a municipal problem that is out of our hands to solve. We could but put pressure on this being fixed as quickly as possible as we did. All houses in a large area were affected; this is unusual. The walls have been tested and measured and sound carries normally within the house - in fact, Ekra is a high end very well built house. The location is Icelandic farming community and lighting at such a location is not as it is in big cities; this also has benefits, e.g., when in comes to the aurora. We thank you for your review and your stay and again, apologise for the inconvenience caused by the water problem in the area.

And, yes there was noice at this time due to maintainance that had to be attended to immediately - this turned out to be more time consuming than expected. We have not had complaints nor trouble about the listing nor the house which is in good condition - We will, nevertheless view the listing with Expedia.
