This amazing central apartment is 100 square meters in size which is much bigger than the usual listings in Reykjavik. It is ideally located in the heart of Reykjavik both close to the centre and the harbour area. The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a very comfortable king size bed and the other one with two comfortable single beds that can be put together to make one double bed. The apartment has a super comfortable living area with a very spacious fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. The apartment is located close to the old harbour area where your will find a lot of attractions like while watching and fishing along with local restaurants. The city centre is very close by where you will find the best restaurants in town, museums and information centres. There is a small grocery store just around the corner where you will find all the necessities you may need . And last but not least the apartment comes with a high quality wireless internet.

the location was unbeatable; steps from amazing cafés, restaurants, and shops, making it easy to explore everything on foot. The apartment itself was spotless, beautifully designed with that clean Nordic aesthetic, yet still warm and inviting, and incredibly comfortable after long days of sightseeing. Every detail felt thoughtful, from the cozy beds to the well-equipped kitchen, and the entire experience was seamless with easy check-in and great communication from the host. Would absolutely stay here again.

Sjonni was a fantastic host with outstanding communication. The apartment was a short walk to the center of town. For a two bedroom apartment it was spacious as well as clean. We would highly recommend staying at this property when you visit Reykjavík.

Geat Iceland Stay

Check-in was very clearly communicated and accurate. Kitchen was well supplied. Our location was perfect for walking everywhere, and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. This is the best VRBO we have stayed in as far as communication and accuracy of description is concerned. Great host! We'd stay here again, no question.

Perfect spot!

What a wonderful location to base out of for our layover stay in Iceland. Easy access to bus stops, restaurants, etc. Apartment had everything we needed and more - I yelped with joy to find not only a “good” blow dryer but a flat iron too!!! It was nice to have a little more space after staying in a hotel room with four people for the previous week. Sjonni was a fantastic host and was very communicative and helpful with recommendations. Would definitely recommend to others and hope to return again!

Excellent Location and Experience

The unit is situated right downtown close to amenities, restaurants and transportation. The unit was modern, spacious, well stocked and maintained. The two twin beds in the spare bedroom was perfect for families. Sigurjon was an excellent host. Excellent communication and very considerate. The check-in instructions were probably the best we've seen. Thank you for the welcome gift, we really appreciated the thoughtfulness and will have fond memories of Iceland and your hospitality. Definitely would recommend to anyone and especially those with families. Cheers,

Wonderful, clean apartment in a great location

Our family of four was very comfortable in this lovely, spacious apartment. Everything was very clean and well-appointed, and we were provided with excellent check-in instructions and useful information about the area. The location was fantastic -- walkable to lots of shops and restaurants, but cozy and quiet at night. Close parking was typically not available, but we always found a spot within a couple of blocks. The only thing I might suggest may be an extra blanket or two for the sofas for relaxing at home. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful apartment close to town

The apartment was so spacious and a beautiful space a short walk from the main square and restaurants. Mountain and sunset views and a bedroom balcony were nice surprises. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Our host was responsive and generous throughout our trip.

Amazing central apartment in downtown Reykjavik

We loved our stay at this apartment. Sjonni the host was fantastic and incredibly helpful when we needed his assistance getting our luggage picked up after it was delayed in getting to us. Very clean, comfortable beds and spacious for the four of us on our girls trip. We loved the convenience to downtown and could walk to restaurants and shopping as well as the harbor and bus stops for tours with ease. Highly recommend!

Perfect in many ways!

Perfect apartment for the four of us, on our first stay in Iceland! The apartment was spacious, clean, and well appointed. The location is amazing! Close to the harbor, shops, restaurants, pubs, grocery, bus stops, and more. The owner is super accommodating, helpful, friendly, and responds quickly to any questions. He was very patient with us, as we had to change the date of our stay, and he answered all our questions about the city,before we arrived. Highly recommend this rental! We are so happy we stayed here, instead of a hotel. The area was steps away from restaurants and shops, yet quiet. Great having a full kitchen, lots of seating, and a clothes washer. We would definitely stay here, again. Thank you for everything, Sjonni!

PERFECT Location!

We loved the location of this apartment and how spacious the living areas, kitchen and bedrooms are!!!! Only one small dislike - wish the bathroom was bigger since 4 women were sharing it. Owner was accommodating and great at communicating and getting us extra towels super quick which we appreciated so much. Highly recommend this apartment if you’re going to Reykjavik. Great place, great host

Our cab driver after a night out commented “You are lucky: you are right downtown!” Sjonni’s apartment was the perfect place for our four person family. Plenty of sites and food within walking distance and Sjonni was an attentive and helpful host. We used his recommendations for food travel and tourism with absolutely no regrets.Strongest encouragement to stay here.

Great Apartment

We loved the layout of the apartment, the location, the beds and the large table where we could share meals with our extended family. The only (minor) thing we did not like was all the outside light coming through the shades of the front bedroom when we were trying to sleep. But we would most definitely recommend it to everyone . Great stay. Loved Iceland!
