Cozy Downtown Coast apartment with private parking

110 sqm. apartment in a house built 2004, located on a quiet street on the west side of down town Reykjavík area only 10-12 minute walk to the city center. Can accommodate up to 8 persons. The apartment is not shared. Private space in closed secure underground parking.

The space

The apartment is very close to everything you would want to explore in Reykjavik. The apartment is on ground floor. With free parking out front or private secure indoor car parking. Elevator goes from the car park to the apartment floor.

Fully furnished, equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a living room with a sleeping sofa for two persons.

Bathroom has shower, and you will find hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner and plenty of towels.

Master bedroom with a 180cm x 200cm bed. Two other bedrooms, with two single beds 80cm x 200cm and a 160cm x 200cm bed.

It’s very clean and nice apartment, great quiet location but only minutes from all the bars and restaurants. Great walks by the sea right outside the building.

Private secure car park is under the house. Free internet, TV. Washing machine and dryer inside.

I am happy to assist my guests, so feel free to ask.

Guest have access to the whole apartment.
Marked parking space in the closed secure parking one floor down reachable in an elevator for easy access with luggage.

Other things to note

Smoking is not allowed in the apartment or noisy parties. And shoes off in the entrance.

Quiet retreat in Reykjavik

Thor was super proactive and communicated everything we needed for the apartment long before we arrived. The apartment came fully stocked with everything you would expect plus some nice extras. The neighborhood was quiet and close to the downtown and harbor areas. Plenty of choices for food and drink within 10 minute walk. We loved our nights there.

Host is incredibly responsive, warm and welcoming. Apartment is spacious and bright, clean and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes. So homey and comfortable. Location is amazing - we found the most incredible food within 5ish minutes of the apartment. There's a parking lot right outside the apartment with spaces available and an indoor garage with a reserved space so you're guaranteed parking. Best location for an amazing Iceland adventure!

Great host and property

This was a wonderful place to stay in Reykjavik for a week with 3 kids. There was plenty of space for everyone, beds were clean and comfortable. Thor was a fantastic host. Very clear communication on how to access the apartment (very easy on the 1st floor) and he was responsive to any questions we had. The location was solid. Quiet neighborhood with some playgrounds close by. It was a 10 minute walk to your pickup locations, a grocery store, and some restaurants. Downtown area was maybe 15 minutes of easy walking. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

Best Reykjavik Apartment

This apartment was perfectly located near the harbor in a quiet neighborhood. It was easily accessed. The apartment was roomy and it felt like home. The owner was so helpful and timely. It was one of the best places we have ever stayed! Thank you for hosting our family!!

Excellent host and location!

This condo was in the perfect location for walking to attractions in Reykjavik. It’s safe, bright, and was plenty spacious for our family. Thor provided clear instructions and was a great communicator. He even let us check in early. He is a wonderful host! Having a designated parking space was very nice. The apartment is well-equipped with everything we needed. We appreciate the hospitality and we definitely would stay again.

Great location - everything we needed

This location is fantastic, downtown is very accessible by walk or scooters. The harbor, fly-over-Iceland, and Lava Show are just around the corner. Lots of food options, and a grocery store within walking distance. Really enjoyed our stay, thank you for having us!

There was some construction going on in the adjacent street (which was disclosed), but other than that, everything went great. This is a good location and everything was tidy and in good repair.

Everything you need

Very good location, nice neighborhood and convenient to shops to pick up food, great coffee shop nearby and walking distance to nice restaurants. The apartment is very spacious with just about everything you need supplied, including washer/dryer, iron (not that I'm ironing on vacation), converters for electronic devices, plenty of coffee and other food supplies

Fantastic Rental in Reykjavik

The flat was clean, spacious, and centrally located. The host was absolutely fantastic! He went above and beyond by offering to arrange transportation to and from the airport and answering any questions that we had about the property and the town itself. The rental can easily accommodate a large family of 6+ or 3 couples. In short, we had an incredible stay at this property!

Thor is a wonderful owner. He is responsive and very helpful. The apartment is nice and clean. It’s well equipped, we find everything we need around the apartments. It’s close to all the shops and restaurants with walking distance. I would stay again if visiting Reykjavik and definitely recommend to my friends.

Fantastic property and very central

The photos clearly do not do the property justice. We had a fantastic stay at the property and the apartment was huge, comfortable and very well stocked. Everything was thought about and taken care of. Communication with the host was clear and Gudmundur was so helpful with local tips on what to do, where to eat, etc. Will highly recommend and will surely rebook if we come back.

Great spot in Reykjavik

We had a great one week stay at the apartment. Easy check-in, great secure parking garage spot, easy walk and drive to groceries. Also a short walking distance to bakeries, restaurants and bars. Super comfy beds, very responsive host, and just wonderful overall.

Perfect Location

I highly recommend this property for a family. Beach, walking trail along the water, grocery store, playground and pizza/sandwich shops all within 2 blocks. About a 10 minute walk to downtown area which was perfect. Fully stocked kitchen, lots of extra towels and blankets and washer/dryer made this apartment very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

Close to great spot watching Northern Lights

We had looked for an apartment in Reykjavik in a good spot to get access to Blue Lagoon and Vik by car. This apartment was just perfect for that. We enjoyed our trips to the blue lagoon and Vik with beautiful sightings on the way. Also not too far away from downtown Reykjavik. The host is very nice and extremely responsive plus instructions about apartment and all around it were perfect. Host suggested a great spot to watch Northern lights and we went there on our last night and got some great views.

Great location within walking distance of everything!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was a perfect size for our 5 person family. On top of the perfect location and size - you get a parking place, full kitchen, and washer/dryer! This was a favorite in our 2 week trip through Iceland.

Awesome host!

Thor was extremely helpful! Our flights were changed and we could no longer pick up our rental car. He arranged a taxi for us. Parking available underground. Quiet but also very easy access to downtown.
