This was a perfect location to stay. It has ample parking for free all around the building, while still being within walking distance of downtown Reykjavik. There is a sandwich shop just 3 minutes away, and a grocery store about a 7 minute drive away. If you're like me and you want to drive around Iceland, and then come home and cook your own meals, this place couldn't be better. It was the ideal home base. The kitchen is shockingly well stocked. They have every utensil and accessory you could think have, plus salt and pepper and oil. I grabbed a few extra things at the grocery store thinking I'd need them and was pleasantly surprised at how much there was in the kitchen. This was a huge plus for me. The building is quiet, and the area is very friendly. The apartment was spotless and clean, and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. I stayed here by myself, but this could easily and comfortably fit a full family without anyone getting in the way of each other. Even little bonuses that I didn't use like a proper guitar and a nice collection of books made this place really feel like home for my stay. I don't like hotels or hotel vibes, and this was really just a home away from home. As another review said, it really just feels like you're missing all of your clothes. It's just that home-y. I will be coming back to Iceland and this will absolutely be the first place that I look for to stay at again. I couldn't have been happier here.
