We absolutely enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend this place. Owners are very friendly and Daisy the property dog is a sweetheart!

Everything was clean and set up for easy entry. I was thankful that they host was so accommodating and easy to work with and answer questions. It was a pleasant and beautiful vacation! I would def come again!

The cabin was so comfortable and cozy! I had been there closer to 10 years ago and I am amazed at the amount of effort and work the owners have put into the place. I can’t wait to come back to stay!

Not bad at all for the price.

If you’re looking to explore the area or do some white water paddling, this is a pretty good deal. Quiet, and well stocked with plenty of amenities that made it a comfortable stay.

Perfect getaway

Very cozy cabin. Great outdoor pavilion and fire pit areas. Very easy to find. It’s a great secluded cabin in the woods.

The Woodsman

We enjoyed our visit to Reliance. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. The property manager made sure that we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay again and recommend them to friends.

Super cute and well-appointed cabin

A lot of thought has gone into the design and outfitting of this little place - super cute and so private! Everything you need for a quiet weekend away and very convenient to fun stuff on the Hiwassee. We made breakfast both mornings in the kitchen and enjoyed early mornings on the porch. Do watch out for poison ivy if you’re sensitive to that but it was easy to avoid if you know what you’re looking for.

Went with my family and took only pictures and left only foot prints! Everything was the way it says and more! Had a great time. Loved all the things!

Fantastic!

This cabin was perfect, my wife and our teenage daughter absolutely loved it. The home has everything you need to cook a nice meal and a beautiful campfire outside. Our pup enjoyed running the hills. The host was great! Super friendly. The cabin has great WiFi as well. Highly recommend.

Great property for a great getaway

The owners were friendly and very responsive during our stay. There was a huge storm right around check in knocking out power. Brian and Nola made sure we got settled in, had lanterns and heat. Can’t wait to see the new cabins when they’re finished. We will be back.

Regular visitor to the Tellico/Reliance area

I've stayed at many properties over the years in this area. Sometimes cabins, sometimes camping. This was a great place with all the necessary amenities. Quiet... secluded... but still accessible to grocery and restaurants in Tellico or Etowah. Be mindful though, and vehicle with low clearance will have a tough time making it to the cabin. Not a criticism or complaint, but if we had driven the sport car I doubt we could have made it both in and out of the driveway.

WAY off the beaten path!

If you're looking to get away from EVERYTHING, this is the place. It is quiet and peaceful and takes a while to arrive! Brian and Nola were gracious hosts and obviously are hard workers. You can tell everything is in the process of being upgraded, including the Woodsman Cabin. The updates to the bathroom are spot-on. The kitchen was great, too. Everything was clean and the cabin was well stocked for our needs. I appreciated the little things, too, like USB plugs in the bedroom and the Citronella candle on the deck. There are some things still in progress, however. We had to adapt the parking situation to avoid walking through a mud hole. The AC was putting out a musty/moldy smell. We turned it off and opened the windows and it pretty much went away. My biggest concern is that there was really no comfortable place inside to rest and relax. The seating in the den area had little padding between us and the springs, and the downstairs mattresses need to be replaced, too. (We didn't go into the loft.) I realize we weren't staying at a luxury hotel but at a rustic cabin, so we can extend a little grace there. But with a few tweaks this could be a 5-Star rated place.
