"Nice clean room. The private balcony had a great view and was really cool in the early morning but it was too hot to use the rest of the day while we were there...temps in the 90's. We love this area and had previously stayed at The Evening Shade a few times and next door at Carters Lodge. We were really sad that one is gone and the other boarded up. "Room was very nice, shower was excellent. There was a little miscommunication on the checking procedure, but that was corrected. The food at the restaurant was excellent as well. Staff was very friendly and accommodating."
