"Very nice hotel, big rooms in an old villa, fully equipped. The staff was very friendly and helped with everything you need. The pool area is rather small (it's in the patio and there are no sun loungers), but a nice location where you can spend some time in the shade reading when it is too hot to go outside. "The boat journey is exciting and comfortable despite being 8 hrs up river and 5 back. If lucky u meet the researchers and hear about their ingenious projects focused on the flora and fauna and the staff are attentive and wonderful as is the food.
We were up at 4.30 most mornings which is no sweat as u go to bed about 9 pm. The clay licks are disappointing this time of year as the Macaws come rarely and the smaller birds fear the hawks without the macaws on the lick...but the birds accumulate...

"We weren’t exactly sure what to expect, but our stay was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. All of the staff was amazing; restaurant staff, particularly Leslie and Renzo, were very friendly and attentive, our guide Yuri was very knowledgeable, fun and accommodating. The excursions included with your stay are well organized and very worthwhile. We would definitely recommend IKAM and hope to return. "
"Wow, the experience at Chomi House was amazing! We were the only guests on the property, and the individualized attention was incredible. The host made great breakfasts and dinners, arranged any private tour we wanted, showed us sloths and monkeys and cacao trees on or around the property. And our private pool was lovely! It’s hard to get in here but you should try! "
