"Clean rooms with a nice balcony. Staff was great. Very friendly. On site parking was convenient. They have a shuttle that can take you anywhere you want to go. We did not utilize it and we chose to just drive ourselves and pay for parking at the meters but it is an option. Would definitely stay again! "

"This property is located in a perfect spot - REAL close to the beach (there are chairs/umbrellas you can use), and close to numerous restaurants. Very easy to walk to many places and they have bikes you can use as well. If something is a bit too far for walking ( the lighthouse is 3.5 miles away) a bike is the perfect option! The front-desk staff were all very nice. The only thing I would suggest is to have a towel ring in the bathroom for the handtowel! :-)"

"Hyland Motor Inn is a clean, neat budget motel 10 minutes from the Stone Harbor beaches. The outdoor pool was still open the weekend of Sept.19, 2025! The water temp was “refreshing!” The staff is very welcoming and very kind."

"The view from the second story was very nice. The sun deck was the biggest benefit. We were able to walk to Bagel Time for good coffee and breakfast. Having a parking lot is a bonus in Cape May. The light above our balcony was a tad annoying in not being able to turn it off but the drapes were sufficient in keeping the light out. All in all it was a very nice experience. "

"Excellent property. Kind staff. Quaint and located in the heart of Cape May just steps away from Washington Street and the beach. They have a decent gym at The Sand Piper - this the the gym the Virginia Hotel guests use. Will definitely be back! Quick babymoon getaway with my husband :)"
