"This is our first time at this resort hotel and so happy we chose to stay here. My husband and I loved the bed and the pillows. The room is very clean, spacious and has nice high ceiling. It is close to Busch Gardens which is just 20 minutes away and half a hour to the beach. We rate this10/10 and we will definitely stay here again. "

"My husband and I spent a few nights here for our 10 year anniversary. The resort was great. We enjoyed being able to walk to everything we needed, the dining options, and the pool behind the spa. The river pool was a bit too crowded with children for us so we stayed away from that. The Mill was a great place for breakfast and lunch, and we enjoyed dinner at The James River Grille twice. "Our company came out for an event to do as a vendor. The hotel was good about letting us check in late & check out late. We even left some of our equipment in the room & they held it for us for an entire week until we could make it back there to get it The location was amazing, right on the beach & by the boardwalk. "This was my wife and myself 6th trip to Williamsburg. Previous 5 trips were with family and stayed at one the resorts outside of the park. This trip was just the two of us and stayed in the Chiswell-Bucktrout. Nicely modernized with a comfy queen bed/private bath with the ambience of an earlier time. Loved our stay. "
