"The owners are so kind, friendly, and thoughtful! I stayed here the night before the eclipse, and because they knew people wanted to leave early the next day to beat the eclipse traffic, they moved up the start of breakfast (poached eggs and bacon hash, yum!) an hour. The hotel is beautiful and has wonderful views of the surroundings, including the lake, from windows. There is a nice loop around the lake that can be done, and hiking trails nearby. "I cannot recommend this property enough. The proprietors are fantastic and make you feel like you are truly having an experience rather than just a stay. The breakfast is exceptional and home made with a rotating menu, and the room we stayed in (the Roosevelt Suite) felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed it so much my fiancé and I have vowed to make a stay here yearly one of our many future traditions."

"My issue was not with this property. They were lovely. My issue is with Expedia. I booked a two Queen bed room and we got a King bed with a pullout couch. When I went back to the front desk they told me "that is because I booked with Expedia and that is what they do." Not sure how that is even legal. Never booking with Expedia again!"
