"We booked three rooms at this hotel while attending a wedding in town, and unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing. Upon check-in, the rooms already appeared run down and not very clean, but we tried to make the best of it after a long day of traveling. "A man, who I never even gave my name to, came up the stairs, barefooted, and only after I had to call him from the front desk…and said “here’s your key” & walked away. We did get in late, around 2:30 am. He then called our room and had my husband get out of bed, to go pay a pet fee that wasn’t mentioned to us, nor were any amenities or instruction given upon “check in” (I.e. when the barefooted man handed a room key to a stranger) The pillows smelled like an un showered person had been sleeping...

"Check in was very quick. We could not figure out how the TV worked and the manager fixed it for us. The breakfast was good and filling. It was convenient to park right in front of our room. We stayed at Trade Winds both coming and going on our trip to Altoona, Iowa."
