"Very nice and clean. Mostly quiet except someone talking loudly at 3 am. They didn’t sound angry and so I drifted back to sleep without calling. Shower had one grab bar at the far end to help getting in. Usually I carry a couple of suction grab bars to help safely shower. The texture of the shower’s inside wall didn’t allow the suction to work. It seems difficult to be able to reserve a handicap room if you go through a third party such as Expedia. And difficult to reach the hotel directly. ...

"Wonderful place for rest and beauty. Near a wild life refuge and located between water and prairie. Mike was incredibly helpful and friendly and even hauled the kayaks for our personal use. We will be back. Bunkhouse is a studio. But adequate for two people. It is set up very comfortably and quaintly. And the views are wonderful. Easy drive into town where there are restaurants and grocery stores."

"The motel is being renovated so it's in transition. It was a good value and the the owner made sure we were taken care of relative to room temp. and cable TV. I'm confident next year it will be even better!"

"The house is quaint. Easy to get to and right next to a highway so easy to get around. They don’t have a full kitchen which didn’t bother us. The bed is a little used as in dips in the middle and its really soft. We prefer a firm bed but this did not take away from the experience for us either just adding the info for others. Very sweet couple. We would stay again."
