"It was the first property that came up on the site and by God‘s design it was just what was needed for our souls! Everything we needed: peaceful, quaint, the cat and his royal set up hilarious, the dog is super laid back, great bathhouse and camp store for fun treasures, and the school house an awesome treat from history. "The house was perfect! The pool was perfect! The neighborhood was perfect! The beach was perfect and a block away! We enjoyed everything about the house, it’s amenities, location etc. To our surprise the house was stocked with extras and large for our family!! It was our first time to South Padre. There was tar on the beach but we didn’t let that stop us from having a wonderful time. My only disappointment was the communication with the property manager. I had sent 2 messages via the Vrbo app...

"This was a great place to stay for the wife and I for our family reunion nearby. It was clean and the amenities were perfect. Plenty of space to park the boat. Great view too! Cutter was a great host. The only negative about this trip was that the Chantier Creek launch was closed due to water level. Not the host’s fault obviously. I would definitely stay here again for a getaway."

"We had a great, cozy stay. Kids loved the playhouse and big yard. Only 5ish minutes from downtown Chamberlain and marina for the river. The house had all utensils and dishes we needed for cooking and grilling. Would definitely book here again! "

"Overall I liked it. It’s private and has plenty of space to park our pickup and boat. Very close to the boat dock and a nice restaurant.It can get windy there, but pretty normal for that area. I would like to see a little more seating inside such as another chair or couch, and possibly a TV, although we were fine without it. Overall a cool place to stay."

"The property was great for our (5 adults) usage over a week of pheasant hunting. Tons of hunting access from 5 mins away to within an hour. The bird cleaning station was great for our use. The space was actually bigger than expected from the online pictures. Brandon, the host, was super responsive with all of our requests and helped make the stay great. "

"We picked this dog-friendly location as a halfway point between my family in Colorado and my brother’s in Minnesota. It worked perfectly for our time together and the house and location were beautiful! Christmas decorations were a nice bonus. Had everything we needed. Only thing we wished was available was a bathroom in the basement bedroom. Not a deal breaker, but a bit of a trek in the middle of the night. ;-) We all agreed we’d definitely book again to get the families together. "
