We did have two nights booked, but we had a family large emergency and had to leave to try to catch an early flight – we also missed our opportunity meet with our realtor that day to show us property, which was the reason we went to Aiken. However, we understand the 48 hour policy things do happen and it wasn’t emergency. It wasn’t like they were lacking business and had a memorial weekend coming up. We were told we could only get a credit when we ever return....

"Property could use some updates and the elevator don't work, no working ice machine, The hot water didn't work , the balcony is very dirty and no handle to open or close the door that barely works very hard to open and shut , overall a good place to stay and affordable. "

"Great value, comfortable beds. Very convenient location for any shopping, food and gas. The shortcomings included a main door that didnt completely close (could be an issue). The property is dated and some wall paper was peeling. The pool has been down a while and no one was working on it. Breakfast selection was good but limited. Carpet needs replacing. The hotel smelled very fresh! I was surprisingly pleased with my stay."

"The hotel looked shady from the get go. The toilet had to be fixed when we got there and couldn’t change rooms he is e”there wasn’t another room available”. Found a couple bed bugs on the sheets and the cover on the other bed looked as if it had dry blood on it. Also it’s not the Hotel Aiken that you’re staying at, but the Holley House. May want to change that on your site. Overall an unpleasant experience to say the least. "
