WVU Football Trip
Great little suite. Check In was very easy and it had all the necessities. Very Clean, nicely decorated. Location is easy to find. Will definitely stay again.

Charming place
It was very clean and cute. Would have liked some extra cream and sugar for the wonderful coffee that was in room. Bed was a little too soft. I would stay here again.

If you are seeking a "luxury suite" (as advertised), you will be greatly disappointed. There was nothing luxurious about our accommodations. Extremely cramped quarters, old (not antique, not charming, just old) furniture, no couch (or loveseat), no closet, hot water only occasionally, toilet seat broken -- shall I go on? Three nice things about our stay -- friendly proprietor, comfortable bed, and wonderful backyard view.

Perfect.
This is a very nice little place. I was moving my daughter into her dorm and needed a place to stay for one night. This was perfect. The cafe next door was perfect for coffee in the morning. I'll be back.

Property was clean and well kept. Unfortunately was only 20 yards from a very noisy intersection. Truck noise started at 3 AM and went late into the evenings. No staff available at any time we were there.

What a lovely Inn this was. I stayed in suite A. It was modern, clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. It had a nice back porch with a bench. There was a little gift shop, nursery across the street with delicious coffee and tasty treats. The shampoo and conditioner smelled amazing and made my hair look and feel great. They had full size bottles for purchase as well. The Inn keepers also had an adorable dog named Louie who loved the attention we showed him. I highly recommend this Inn.

Charming and very clean. Nice staff. Beautiful grounds. So relaxing. No hassles at all. I would definitely stay there again. Excellent experience.

Country comfort
The inn was roomy, well appointed and comfortable. The main room area was spacious with a sleeping area, sitting area, and a small kitchen table with two chairs. There was also a full kitchen. The location is rural, but only about 20 minutes from the put-in for Cheat River rafting trips. I will absolutely make this my go-to lodging when I return to the area for work.

Fantastic Stay
We went up for a football game and enjoyed our stay so much. The room was so clean, modern and cozy. Trellis made extra effort to make sure you were set and had everything needed. We were arriving late and he sent me where I could find the key and pictures so I knew where I was going. The coffee shop across the street is also amazing and I love the extra touches they added to make it a wonderful place to stay. Would recommend Homestead Inn to anyone!

Base Camp for exploring eastern WV
Quaint location, suites are well-appointed and comfortable inside. Feels like you are staying at a friend's house. High marks for the interior decor. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to have a ceiling fan in the main area. The complex consists of several separate houses/buildings all on the south end of a small crossroads - they are close to the road, so there is a fair amount of traffic noise even on those little 2-lane roads. Trellis and Lucas are very friendly and accommodating. The coffee shop that is part of the facility does not have a lot of food offerings, but there is a small supermarket in town where you can stock the en suite kitchen, and a number of small eateries scattered around within 0.5-1 hour's drive. Plenty of tchotchkes and a nice little garden/nursery shop on the grounds too. A great "base camp" from which to explore the surrounding countryside.

Best Inn in for Miles Around!
Wonderful Inn in the middle of Preston County. Best place to stay for miles and miles. Very clean and well cared for. My husband and I loved all the little touches. Little kitchenette was very nice.

Modern Homestead was so Charming!
A quaint, historic cottage-style room. We especially enjoyed the kitchen and back deck overlooking the gardens. The service was great and helpful with everything including local restaurants. An adorable gift shop with coffee and cakes was convenient for continental breakfast.

Great place with a wonderful feel.
I was very pleased from the moment we arrived to the minute we left with the service and care provided by the owners. I was looking for a hotel alternative for a WVU football game, we definitely found a winner.

Modern Homestead in Reedsville? Lovely!
This place makes you feel like you are at a home, but better – no chores, just enjoy! Flanked by a coffee/amazing gift shop and a beautiful nursery – I cannot begin to explain the greenery and meticulousness of the landscaping and grounds of this property. The suite was comfortable and stylish (the bed incredible), with a fully functional kitchen and our OWN private deck overlooking the nursery and amazing landscaping. The building still feels historic which I LOVE (original front doors, hardwoods, porch, etc) and has modern decorating touches. This is a breath of literal fresh air in the mountains of West Virginia, and such a treat. The privacy, serenity, personalization and clear love and attention to detail makes anything a large chain could do pale in comparison in my opinion.

Nice cottage close to Morgantown
My wife and I booked this cottage to attend a WVU football game. We were going to be arriving late in an unfamiliar area. The owner, Trellis, was very accommodating about our late arrival time and even texted us a picture of the cottage with a description of the parking area. The key was left in the door. The cottage was cozy and clean with a full kitchen. Next door was a classy coffee shop, also run by Trellis. We enjoyed our stay in a cottage that was nothing like a box hotel in the suburbs.

Cute studio apartment about 30 min from WVU
This is a clean pleasant little apartment near WVU that is in the back of a house. I forgot a shirt and the staff called me and offered to mail back to me which I thought was very kind and would not happen in a large chain. Enjoyed our short stay. Denise B.

Nice Bed and Breakfast Stopover
I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. The room was nice and roomy and some nice remodeling has been done. The site, although on the main route, is really out there in the middle of nowhere. It's in a beautiful area in the rolling hills of West Virginia. If you blink you will miss it. I had my own parking area, and there are a few local spots for refreshments. Prepared breakfast in my room and everything was there you would need to make things yourself. It was very hot the day I visited, and the only small drawback was that the window air conditioner did not cool the room well enough to my liking. Probably could use a larger one to cover the wide living area. For the price, it was very nice. Great place to stop if you are in no hurry, only because the place is really off the beaten path and driving through those hills can be an experience. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

Best stay in WV by far!
I wasn't sure about staying in a Inn, but was i surprised! This was without a doubt one of the best road trip stays in a long time. The room was very nice,clean and the staff was very helpful. I will stay here every time I'm in the area.
