"New hotel, very clean, great amenities and the friendliest staff. I highly recommend it."

"We found that the bathroom, while clean, didn’t have the amenities we have found in other Hampton Inns. The toilet paper holder was not very conveniently placed and we ended up putting the roll on the counter. Breakfast, while there were plenty of options, had issues. The omelettes seemed fake and the waffle maker was a challenge to use. More time was spent trying to peel the waffle off the cooking plates. "The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Only one desk chair in room. Big open space where comfortable chair should have been. Unable to get into courtyard. Doors locked. Very big hotel and had to walk a mile to get ice. Parking lot blocked off and no signage or direction where to park when arrived. Our room was almost the farthest to the back of a very large building and we walked the entire bldg to get to our room with...

"Parking lot next to the hotel was being torn up with heavy equipment starting at 10 pm right outside our window. Since it wasn’t looking like it was going to stop, at 1:30 am we requested and got switched to another room. Enjoyed the breakfast."

"The staff and room were amazing. The reason I’m giving a 3 instead of 5 is that the food in the restaurant was horrible. $18 for nachos with cheese burned on them, overcooked wings and soggy pizza. 5/5 for hotel 0/5 for restaurant"

"There is no individual room air conditioning and the staff said it was set at 68 which is impossible as the room was at 75 with my thermometer. Huge gap below the door so had to plug it for the night. Bathroom toilet seat was stained and burned. Floor was gritty and there were spill stains on the wall. The whole building is not maintained. Never again."

"Room dirty 3 lge stains on couch as well as dried crud on armrest I refused to sit on it. I asked for another room and was told they were full and could not accommodate us.. Shower bar repair incomplete and the room was in the basement. The furniture is past its prime . When I enquired about the room being in the basement, I was informed that I should have asked Expedia where the room was located, What! "The espresso machines are a nice touch, but not everyone is familiar with how to use them. It might be helpful to provide simple instructions, including how to make a regular cup of coffee, for guests who aren't looking for specialty drinks. The blinds are attractive, but they don't offer much privacy since you can easily see through them from both inside and outside. They also do very little to block sunlight. Adding curtains would greatly improve both privacy and light control. Considering...

"Pet friendly. Near main strip, lots of dining short walk away. Room was spacious, clean. Cameras everywhere, security; felt safer than other places in Thunder bay. Great breakfast spread/ many options."

"If I could give cleanliness and amenities 0 stars I would. There were garbage bags at the top of every staircase which had to be used due to the elevator being out of service. The room we were given had blood stained sheets, mystery fluid on the wall and a unkept bathroom. The front desk gentlemen was very accommodating and tried his best to help however the issues were beyond his control. Would not recommend staying here if you value a clean environment."
