"The property is exactly as advertised on the listing. It’s very secluded and quiet. It was the perfect place to spend a quiet relaxing weekend with my wife. The redwoods are a 10 minute drive away and we got some great hiking in. There is a town close by but it’s tiny and doesn’t have much for services do pack appropriately. The owner is very nice and responsive to messages. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. "

"Loved the house! Super cute and spacious, great kitchen, option to use the garage was great, everything! Only slight complaint is all the beds feel like basically the same fairly hard foam which I didn’t really like, but otherwise it was an almost perfect stay. Will definitely think about staying again if I can make it back to Shelter Cove."

"An absolutely lovely property with very nice hosts. Our group of ten took turns cooking with the impressive kitchen, and after having tried almost every appliance we can confidently say they all worked excellently and are clearly well maintained. The road up to the house can be a little tricky, and I would recommend vehicles that can manage steep inclines and have a bit of clearance.I would have appreciated a more detailed inventory of available cookware and dishes, as we ended up bringing...

Very short walk downhill to Black Sands Beach and amazing views overlooking the ocean in the evening. Woild recommend staying here."

"My bestie and I came gor the first few days then my daughter and her family joined us for the holiday weekend. I dont even know where to begin. The house and property are more beautiful than the pictures that are on line. The town is amazing and friendly. The little bistro coffee shop has amazing food. Back to the house. So welcoming and comfortable. Each room of the house has its own personality. The zen/yoga room was a great place to unwind and stretch. The hot tub was perfect after a long day...
