"Excellent , perfect add on to my Charleston french quarter trip. Beware the bad reviews are old, for a minute I was in doubt and after was very happy I made it. The hotel was renovated recently. Staff was extremely friendly starting from Holly at front desk and Lucas and Lucy at lodge and helping around. I was recovering from a broken foot and they made their best to acomodate my needs. "The Dunlin was an amazing stay (3 nights was perfect). Things that stood out were 1) how friendly and helpful the staff were 2) the decor and overall feel of the place 3) the pool and amenities 4) the spa - great services at reasonable prices 5) the restaurants - food was incredible and many ingredients were from nearby farms, they were very accommodating to our 16-month old too. Overall, it was a great place to spend a few days relaxing away from our busy lives with our little family."

"Do not recommend this property. The guy at the counter had no shoes on and Hardly talked, he didn’t seem to know what’s going on. Not very clean at all and like every other review the tvs in the rooms do not work at all. The room smelled bad and had stains on the sheets. That being said we stayed one night and cancelled our other two at this property and had no issues getting a refund, they were nice about it. Showers were the best part of the stay they were actually pretty nice. I would not go...

"First time at Hyatt Place sc location was nice. Sheena at the front desk was awesome. She made our long trip so meaningful. She was kind, professional, caring , godly young woman. She loved her job and it was evident that she was just a generally caring person. My mobility is not good and she went above and beyond from the first greeting to our last step. Kindness is a rarity but it goes so far and speaks volumes about a person. God bless Sheena in all that she does to help strangers feel...

"This clean comfortable hotel was very conveniently located near the airport, yet it was still only minutes from downtown! For the price, I thought it was great, and the money I saved allowed me to spend more on the great restaurants in Charleston."
