"The Yearling will always have a very special place in my heart. It is old Florida charm at its finest. The cabins are not 5-star accommodations, but rather exactly what you would expect to find located on Cross Creek between Lake Orange and Lake Lochloosa. They are clean, comfortable and offer an excellent view of the creek. The neighborhood peacocks call to each other while birds and other wildlife occasionally travel by. "We stayed for 3 days and the condo was super nice, when arrived the first thing we noticed was how clean the place was. Someone had taken our parking space but the owner or person in charged helped us even though it was super late. The response was fast and efficient. The condo was super cold so no complaints in that department as it was extremely hot outside during the day. "

"The bungalow was perfectly clean, beautifully decorated with upgraded interior. Location to KP Hole was not as close as expected but a quick drive with the boat ramp which made launching our paddle boards convenient. Would definitely stay again if we can’t find a comparable place that is actually waterfront. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at bungalow A. My wife and I are regulars of Rainbow River and have been vacationing there for 10 years. We have stayed at the bungalows several times now, and this property did not disappoint. The location is so close to the KP Hole that you can walk there in just a few minutes. This is really convenient as you can drive your kayaks down, park back at the bungalow and you're on the river after a short walk back. The bungalow was comfortable, clean and well decorated....
