To the outside of the property is off road parking for one cars and a front patio garden with furniture. Situated in a lovely area, Smugglers' Cottage is great for a holiday at any time of the year.

Marske-by-the-Sea is a small, coastal village with long, sandy beaches. Today it has a selection of local shops and pubs, which cater for all the family, plus the safe, sandy beaches and fishing boats are an enticing attraction. Places of interest nearby include Captain Cook's birthplace, and the Zetland Lifeboat Museum. Within easy reach of this quaint village is a horse riding centre, the stunning scenery of the North York Moors, through which runs a steam railway line, and the numerous pretty inland villages and fishing villages including Staithes and Runswick Bay.
