Grandview 1 - In Town - Free WiFi - Cable - Gas Burning Fireplace - Gas Grill -

Rustic Retreat, also known as Grandview Townhouse #1, is a beautiful, well-thought-out two bedroom, 1 3/4 bathroom townhome located on the East side of Red River. This home sits across the road from the Library and is a two-story end unit giving you more parking options as well as only one adjoining wall. As you walk into the living room you will find a large sofa that folds out into a king bed, a TV to watch cable, and DVD Player where you may sit around and watch movies with the family. Lounge in around the gas-burning fireplace and take in the warm, mountain feel of the roaring flames in the brick hearth. Rustic Retreat has a newly remodeled kitchen you will find stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, bar stools for additional seating, a dining area table, and fully stocked cupboards with all the pots, pans, mixing bowls, dishes, and more. The back door leads to an alley that sits between the Grandview units so if you have more than one rented, all the kids have to do is go in and out through there! Off the dining area, you will find a full bath with a stackable washer/dryer where you may do your laundry. Upstairs you will find a full bath at the top of the stairway which is shared by both bedrooms. The master is off to the right featuring a king bed, TV, and private balcony; to the left is the guest bedroom furnished with a queen bed, custom twin bunk beds, and a flat-screen TV. Out front, you will find some outdoor seating where you may relax and watch the deer climb the mountain or grill out on the Gas BBQ Grill (Gas Cylinder provided, courtesy of Red River Real Estate) for those perfect outdoor summer steaks and kabobs!

Cozy Home, Convenient Location!

My family and I chose this home to stay for our summer vacation. We bring our SxS to trail ride; we haven’t been to RR since they allowed ORV to be on streets from 8am-8pm, with a permit. This location was super convenient, allowing enough room to park our trailer. We were able to keep the truck and trailer parked for the duration of our stay, using the SxS to visit shops/restaurants. We loved the small patio this property had -lighting the chiminea, rocking on the swing, watching the horses take groups on their tours, petting all the dogs that walked by, and the boys even had a close encounter with a pregnant doe! The home was cozy, and had all our family of four needed! We came for the cool, mountain air but found ourselves with higher than average temperatures. This unit doesn’t have an air conditioner, which typically doesn’t matter, until it got into the mid 80s during the day. The upstairs room with the bunk beds did have a window unit, but that was the only room that was really “cool” in the evenings, even with opening doors/windows. In all our years coming to Red River, this location was the most convenient spot for our family. We will certainly book this home again!

Great getaway

The location is great, and easy, friendly staff to check you in. Property is a little smaller than anticipated and there is no space to store any of your kitchen items as most cabinets and closets are locked. Makes for a cramped downstairs.

Great stay

This was our first trip to RR and it won’t be out last. I’ll start by saying I’m one of those people that “5 star” ratings don’t happen often just because perfection doesn’t happen often in life. That being said, I would stay here again. The pics are accurate, the property served its purpose. It’s not the “prime” location but it is close to everything and nice. The beds are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked, grill on the back porch…. The only thing I noticed is, as a whole the place was clean, however, I dropped something and when I bent down to pick it up they clearly don’t move the chair in the living room when they clean. Also when leaving I looked under the bed to make sure we weren’t leaving anything and there were tweezers that weren’t ours under the bed. To me those aren’t major things, but just kinda yuck. There were 3 of us staying there and while the property could technically sleep 8 I don’t think it would be enjoyable. It would be crowded with 8 people. Doable, but probably not the best place for 8 people in my opinion. If there are 4-5 people or less it’s a great place to stay.

Family ski trip

The unit was a little snug for 8, but very well cared for and clean. We put the full kitchen to good use! We brought some things that we were sure they wouldn’t have, like a crock pot and cheese grater, but they included everything we needed and more. My 6-year old Granddaughter is going decorate her home exactly like it when she grows up! Highly recommended.

Beautiful Rustic Retreat

Rented this cute 2 bedroom condo for a long weekend with friends and it was just perfect! Very nicely updated and had everything we needed. Nice fireplace, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and washer and dryer and fully functioning kitchen with nice appliances. Would definitely stay here again.
