"One hot tub, of two was working. The room, while clean, needed some updating. Window treatments were not properly working. The television was not working. Hair dryer was not working. Cleaning staff were very helpful, when asked for extra soaps, towels, and coffees. The setting is idylic and picturesque."

However, our stay was not as pleasant as the previous year because there was no breakfast included ... not even coffee in the morning. "Stayed at River View Lodge — unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it. The rooms had a strong musty smell, likely because of the carpet and the lack of sunlight/airflow into the rooms, which made it feel like they never fully dried out.
