Summary:
Enjoy the river songs just outside your door at Uppa Creek. This cabin is the perfect location to unplug and enjoy friends and family. This property features a bedroom with a queen and two bunk beds with private ensuite bathroom and a sleeping loft with a queen and two single beds. The Kitchen is well appointed, there is the most cozy living room with fireplace, games, and movies, and a deck just feet from Rock Creek. Enjoy a soak in the hot tub under a canopy of trees just next to the river.
The Space:
This cabin features everything you could want from a mountain vacation. The location is prime right on Rock Creek. The home is tucked away in a wonderful forest setting with evergreens and seasonal foliage. There are decks off the front and back of the house. The deck off the back of the home sits right along the creek and has seating for taking in the serene setting. The hot tub is accomodating for your whole group and is also just next to the creek.
Come inside to a cozy cabin with wood features, cabin decor, and an open living area with a stocked kitchen, dining table, and cozy living room with wood-burning fireplace and fun games and movies for the whole family. Enjoy a great movie collection for winding down at night or play a tune on the piano for a sing a long.
Upstairs in the loft is a queen bed and two twin beds that looks out the windows to the beautiful woods and river.
The downstairs bedroom is set up for the whole crew with a queen bed, two sets of bunkbeds (4 twins total) and its own ensuite bathroom with bathtub shower combo. There is a sliding glass door that brings you to the deck and the firepit, just a step away from nature.
Each bathroom is fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, and lots of towels. There is a washer and dryer for your use as well along with iron and ironing board.
Warm your bones by a wood burning fireplace in a two story great room with a wall of glass overlooking a spacious deck on Rock Creek. This is a great location to experience the Red Lodge “wild life”- we’re talking moose, bear, deer, fish, and fowl. For more urban fun, try the sundry assortment of restaurants and saloons downtown. Close to town with a mountain feel and on the creek, Wolf Cabin is sure to be your favorite Red Lodge getaway.

Minutes from Red Lodge, Montana located right on Rock Creek. Just south of Red Lodge off the Beartooth Highway, Uppa Creek is located in a small neighborhood of mountain homes surrounded by trees and nature. You'll discover Uppa Creek in a secluded corner just along the river. Enjoy all the best parts of the mountains here at Uppa Creek.
If you are looking to enjoy the natural beauty of the area, Red Lodge is hard to beat. Enjoy watching the wildlife wander by including deer, moose, and turkeys. Red Lodge has many parks for that have great amenities including river access for Rock Creek, disc golf, tennis and pickleball, play structures, basketball courts. ice skating in the winter and farmers markets in the summers, baseball fields and soccer fields, a city pool, and green spaces with canopies of trees. There are also several trails including Rocky Fork trail that follows the edge of the bench for great views or a small trail down by Rotary Park that follows the river.
For the adventurers Red Lodge is nestled at the base of the Beartooths and sits just outside the Custer-Gallatin National Forest. So whether you want to explore the Nordic Trails in the winter, hike the mountain trails in the summer, or angle the rivers and streams, we have it all in our backyard.
Skiers and Riders can come together here at Red Lodge Mountain and enjoy the fresh groomed trails of Lazy M or find themselves in the steeps and deeps of Headwaters.
The Beartooth Highway is must in the Summer months. Take in the views from one of the most scenic drives in the country. The Beartooth Highway will bring you to the top of the world and you will enjoy high cascade lakes, wildlife, wildflowers, and stunning twists and turns.
Yellowstone National Park is only 70 miles south of Red Lodge via the Beartooth Pass in the summer months. It is about a 3 hour tour to get there through Silver Gate, but it is a trip you wont forget!
Getting Around:
The cabin is located less than 3 miles south of downtown Red Lodge.
Yellowstone National Park is about 70 miles away via the Beartooth Pass, which is a beautiful scenic drive, but it takes at least two hours to get there due to the twists and turns.
Red Lodge Mountain is only about 15 minutes away.
Other Things to Note:
NO WIFI. Unplug and relax with no internet. There are several internet options in Red Lodge, but no internet available at the cabin. Good cell phone service if you would like to utilize your own hot spot.
No AC at the home. Open windows in the evenings to cool down the home during the summer. Location helps keep the property cool being next to the creek and good shade.
