"I only spent one night at the Washhouse, but as soon as I entered, I felt right at home. The Washhouse was very clean and tidy, and very comfortable. I did not venture upstairs for the sake of cleanliness, but the downstairs was very nicely set up for Guests. There were lots of games and activities available for people who choose to stay longer, and the English mastiffs outside were so lovely and sweet and ready for pets! I would definitely return if I ever come back this way."

"The owner was very nice. Showed us around and told us about all the amenities. She even stocked the refrigerator with some food, milk and yogart which was so helpful because we were so busy the entire time we stayed. The beds were comfortable and we had great nights of sleep. Thank you!"

"The caretakers of The Birdhouse have thought of everything to make sure you are comfortable. Highly recommend. Only downside was tv did not work. Since we werent watching it anyway, it did not inconvenience us."

"Beautiful property and views. Stayed overnight with my Shepherd as we traveled back home on a long trip. Great open property to walk with my dog. Large basement rental with large kitchen, living room, and bedrooms. Plenty of TVs too! "A group of friends stayed at Big Springs B&B for a weekend trip to Highland County. The house was exactly as described, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a meal and we appreciated the farm-raised beef in the freezer. The setting is beautiful. We enjoyed hearing the whippoorwills at dusk and seeing the milky way at night."

"This property was less than expected from the listing. Cleanliness was lacking and it had a grungy feeling overall. There were areas that were not cleaned at all. We found food crumbs left on the screened in porch floor and globs of grease on the front stoop next to the grill. Many things in the house did not work well or at all. "My wife and I absolutely loved our 4-night stay at the Golden Ridge Cabin. This was the best thought-out vacation rental we have seen yet. The drawers/cabinets and switches were all clearly labeled.
