Aircoditioned lounge /dining area with a masterchef country style gourmet kitchen for entertaining . Enjoy amazing views from every window overlooking the valley below or simply sit o the veranda and gaze at the everchanging scene around you.
An outdoor covered entertaining/bbq area is separate from the house and a firepit and seating for star gazing and yarns at night.
slip intyo the plunge pool (slightly warmed, not hot) for a resfreshing splash. The log fire in winter is mesmerising and cosy on the retro lounge.
3 bedrooms each with its own unique view, two with french doors to allow you to walk out onto the manucured lawns that surround the cottage.

Guest Access:
Quince Cottage is accessible from Seventeen Mile Road which is 2.5 km from the Esk Hampton Road turn off to the Ravensbourne National Park entrance and is not sealed. Through a farm gate down the driveway to the covered carport. We provide you with an electronic code for the front door via SMS before you come. Let yourself in and feel the blood pressure disappear..
The Neighborhood:
You are situated on the cool green Great Dividing Range escarpment at 2400 feet above sea level. With amazing views of the Brisbane Valley below and as far south as New South Wales.
Or simply stay in and enjoy the log fire in winter on misty days or a bbq on the veranda in Summer
Unspoilt, tranquil and relaxing. Only a short drive to cafes, Pubs and bistros for breakfast lunch or dinner.
We are a 10 minute drive from pretty Lake Cressbrook and Hampton Visitors Centre. Within 20 minutes Discover Crows Nest with its cafes and quaint country vibe , great coffee, a 5 star eatery - Myrtille, and local art & crafts, supermarket, local pub and Village square .
Why not try out the Pechey Gin Distillery for local spirits and great characters, or discover the Crows Nest National Park and waterfall.
Getting Around:
You will come by car and this will be necessary for your travel around the area. Parking is provided free at your house.
Other Things to Note:
No pets are allowed and small children under 5 need special supervision as Quince has steep inclines around the house and this IS the country...
