"We had the most wonderful stay in Katie's Cottage. We met the lovely host Caroline on arrival and we couldn't have gotten a warmer welcome. There was fresh scones with jam and butter and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The house was absolutely immaculate with loads of fresh towels and bed linen. "Enjoyed the nearby hike along the coastal cliffs, as well as the great food at the Beach Bar. House was big and comfortable. "

"We were a party of seven adults and two dogs, visiting family and for birthday celebrations. There was plenty of room in the house and more than enough crockery etc. for our group. The location is great, just a few minutes walk from the beach. We ‘practised’ walking to the Beach Bar on several occasions! Sheila was quick to respond to any queries. And we had two weeks of Irish sunshine. A lovely stay and we would happily return."

"We were expecting the unrivaled scenery of Ireland. But to be able explore from a cozy remodeled police station was icing on the cake. Every room was clean and well stocked right down to the wood and coal for the fireplace. The hostess was warm and so helpful. We felt like we had known her forever. "After a couple of weeks seeing the UK and Ireland with 9 of our kids and grandkids, we wanted a few days to rest. We loved being in the Sligo area and dining at the nearby Beach Bar. Downpatrick Head was great to see & we even drove to the Giant’s Causeway while we were in the area. Sheila’s house was a nice place to rest and relax. We loved attending church in nearby Screen. A great ending to a great trip!"
