Nestled in a quiet neighborhood with shared access to one of the best sandy beaches on Rangeley Lake, you can easily walk to the beach, downtown shops and restaurants, the IGA, and even the scenic Rangeley Lake overlook—making it easy to park your car and enjoy your stay on foot. It's an ideal setup for families, with kids able to safely explore trips to the beach or grab ice cream in town.
Inside, the home is bright and inviting with plenty of natural light, a beautiful new kitchen with a gas stove, high-speed internet, and spacious living areas designed for gathering and relaxing. There's something for everyone, from the cozy loft to the lower-level game room featuring an 85” TV and oversized couch—perfect for movie nights after a day of adventure.
Outdoor living is just as enjoyable, with multiple decks and a patio offering plenty of seating to take in both sunrise and sunset. In every season, the location shines—just 10 minutes to Saddleback Mountain, a short walk to skating on Haley Pond, and direct snowmobile trail access right from the property for winter fun.

Location: 1 Marbles Way, Rangeley, ME. 0.3 miles to downtown Rangeley, 7.4 miles to downtown Oquossoc, and 7.8 miles to Saddleback.
Shared Access: Enjoy 200 feet of shared waterfront on Rangeley Lake! Guests have access to sandy shared beach, dock, and picnic tables. Use marked grassy path to reach waterfront area.
FAQs: Please park in driveway only - not in road or on lawn. There is no ATV access from this property. Grill available mid-May through mid-October. Two kayaks available for guest use! There is AC: Heat/Cool pumps throughout the home. Walking path to downtown Rangeley (3 minute walk). There are outdoor cameras! This home is part of an association and guests are asked to follow association rules, including capacity rules which state no more than 8 overnight guests at the property. No smoking. No pets.
Snowmobile Access: Continue down Sunset Ln (not Marbles Way) to the parking lot by the Lakehouse Condos' dumpsters. That short path takes you right to the main trail. Please do not ride on the other lots in the neighborhood - you can ride on Marbles Way and Sunset to get on the trails.

The place came as advertised. It was clean, convenient to town(walking distance), plenty of beds and bathrooms. Morton & Furbish have their process well oiled, they have all your questions answered in the emails and forms left at the residence.

Beach house Chalet
Great house, plenty of room and close to town and Saddleback mountain. Everyone thought the beds were very comfortable and the layout of the house was very good with plenty of storage and pretty much everything you needed in the kitchen! Would definitely stay there again!

Third summer here and still loving it!
We were 3 generations with 3 little ones who loved being able to walk and bike to town to play at Town Park and have Pinetree Frosty ice cream (every night!)
House layout is great to give families and kids space; love the access to the lake, wonderful yard and regular visits from the deer!
We hope to return next summer!

Great stay close to Saddleback Mountain
We enjoyed our stay at this home in Rangeley. It was only 15 minutes from Saddleback Mountain. The kitchen was well appointed with all the necessities, even a pizza cutter. The host communicated very well and we were so appreciative of that.

Beach House Chalet
House was wonderful —clean and well equipped. The beach area was lovely (weather did not allow us to use boats but it was nice to know we could have) and the surroundings and location were ideal. The open area with big table were perfect for our group of 9.
Did think from the name that we would actually have lake view but we still enjoyed the views which were complete with a mother and three fawns who entertained us!
Two suggestions: (1) towel hooks in bathrooms (2) bedside lamps and a lamp in living room.

Great space and location
This is our second time as a multi generational family staying at Beach House chalet. We brought our bikes which allowed us to get to town for the kids to swim and play at the new playground at the park. The new docks at the shared beach area were great fun too. There is plenty of space for the kids to play and adults who needed to do some work to also find a good spot. Lovely home with deer visiting daily.

Great spot for a ski and snowmobile vacation
8 of us, 4 adults and 4 kids stayed at the house for 5 days. We skied at Saddleback and Black and snowmobiled. The house was perfect for our needs. Very modern and well appointed, I think the new paint smell is still in the air. There were plenty of comfy beds for all and a great loft and basement space for the kids. The location is fantastic, right in town and super close to the IGA, mountain and trails. We'd definitely rent this property again.

Clean, convenient and roomy house
We were a 3-generation group staying in Rangeley for 5 days in August 2023. This house has all the right rooms to give everyone space. I had to do some video calls in the loft and the little ones could run around in the basement and protected yard. We sat outside at the gas fireplace on the deck at night under the stars. The location allowed us to walk everywhere in town. We hope to go back here in the winter to ski!

Pristine!
Great new construction home in very convenient location. We really appreciated the AC during the hottest week in Rangeley. The downstairs area is huge; the whole house gives families lots of room to spread out. We appreciated all the nice new cookware and appliances.
There are two paddle boards stored at the lake side for guests' use; we had so much fun with them! Private access to the lake is close by but there is an incline down to the lake that makes it difficult to transport a kayak or canoe unless you have a cart or strong helpers. You could also launch in town, then store at the beach.

Review - Stay with Meran Ellis
The house was perfect for two families - lots of bedrooms, a huge play area, and comfortable living space. We would return now if we could only break away from work!
My only comment - and I realize this is minor and somewhat obsessive - is that the color temperature of the lights is quite cold, meaning daylight, not warm light. As the bulbs expire, consider replacing them with warmer ones.
Thank you for letting us have a late checkout - it allowed us precious additional time skiing.

Everything was great! We had a small issue when the shower door in the bathroom off the king bedroom fell off the track. We reported it immediately and they sent a maintenance person fairly quickly to check it out. Would definitely look at this property again!! So much room and the beds were comfy!
