"A wonderful property, surrounded by peace. Easy access to the Golden Circle made for a perfect base from which to enjoy our south coast adventures. Our hosts have thought of everything, allowing us to settle in and enjoy home cooked meals, and a movie!"

Always had hot water available. Had regular coffee maker and Senseo coffee maker. Owners were great telling us what we need to know about the property (like how to fill and drain the hot tub). If I return for another Iceland trip this will be my first choice to stay at. "

"We had 8 in our group. The 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were perfect! We were comfortable and enjoyed the kitchen, including many appliances. Kids loved the chickens, playground, ground installed trampoline and the bunk beds! The view ia spectacular. Peaceful and serene. "

"This unique building has very high quality furniture, bedding, and towels. Even robes are provided. The hot tub in the back yard is a highlight. Lots of windows let in the epic Icelandic landscape. When the wind pics up you feel cozy and comfortable with every convenience. There is a full sized washer AND dryer (great for families). The gas station is a 10 minute walk away and has all the basic groceries you need along with a small diner. If you are in the area, this is a great place to stay. "
