"This gem of a cabin is tucked away from the main road and if you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life then definitely give this a try. The place was clean and everything you need is available. Bryan, the host provided excellent instructions on checking in and checking out. Also, the place is 30 minutes from Longwood University so if you decide you want to explore Farmville, VA then rent this cabin. "

"Super clean place, quiet neighborhood with very friendly neighbors. The access to the covered dock was great for our boat. The landscaping on the property is beautiful, the water fountain feature in front of the cabin is a nice place to sit and relax once the sun goes down. Will definitely be back in the future! "

"That’s right every morning coffee/tea on front porch. Very peaceful , the traffic was sporadic which was NOT an issue. Short drive to Kerr Lake and shorter drive to Dollar General. There’s a nee Mexican restaurant that was very good and service was fast . It opened July 2025 and our party of ten had no complaints. "This was our second 4th of July weekend at Margo’s lovely cabin. It is perfectly located near our yearly family reunion and allows us our own space away from the rest of the crowd. Margo is a great communicator and very responsive to questions and suggestions. Kids loved the loft and we all loved the screened in sun porch. "This home was absolutely perfect for our family vacation and the photos don’t do it justice! The view from the back deck is absolutely breathtaking. The dock was big enough to tie up our 2 jet skis, fish and relax for our whole family. The home provided plenty of activities to do from cornhole to kayaking and everyone slept comfortably. Host is very friendly, quick to respond and accommodating. Highly recommended this for your next family vacay. We will definitely be back! "

"We had a wonderful stay at this lake front property. The house accommodated 3 generations of our family. The basement was perfect for the teenagers and kids. They enjoyed the ping pong and air hockey tables. We brought our boat and enjoyed so much time on the water, as well as floating, swimming and fishing from the dock. The communication from the owner was excellent and we highly recommend this vacation rental. "

"Property manager very responsive, easy check- in and check -out. Home was excellent. Extremely clean, beautiful property. Loved the location. Treated to seeing deer every time I was at the home. Neighbors were very nice. Would absolutely stay there again!"

Taking my grandbabies age 7, 4,3 & 2 months I was so impressed there was even a Life Vac there ! I always have one in my car and home ! They had a kid drawer with cups with lids kid plates and even straws which my babies loved. All the cook ware , bowls cups even a waffle maker we used several morning! The dock was so nice , the chairs on the dock and porch were perfect for rocking my...

"This was our second stay at this property and we thoroughly enjoyed it again!The property is clean, and the communication with the host was excellent. The people of Clarksville are so kind and welcoming. The location is great for lake activities, or exploring the area. We found some great local breweries and vinyards within reasonable distance and of course enjoyed Buggs Island Brewery for live music lakeside in the evenings. Highly recommend!!"

"The cabin was very cute, it is really for people who are younger and wants to camp out. For us it was not a good fit. It was discribed as a two room but it’s really only one room with a loft for sleeping. The water pressure is very low and the electric kept going out. My dad has a C-pac so we had to leave and find somewhere else to stay."
