"I was attending a course in the leisure centre next door. The Aqua was an excellent, relaxed place to stay. The staff/owners were polite, friendly and generated a relaxed atmosphere. The small, well stocked bar carried on this relaxing, informal atmosphere. (The squeaky bar stools could do with fixing but were still amusing) The food is top notch and very affordable. "Beautiful view, comfortable bed friendly host - but take a blindfold if you want to sleep. Unfortunately I got very little sleep here, there are flood lights on the building which were on all night. I asked the host about them and he said it was the council who have them and they won't take them down - so then why not have blinds?! There were no blinds on the windows and the curtains were thin. It was like the aliens were landing it was SO bright. There were blinds in the breakfast room but not...

"We paid extra for a gold room with a sea view, unfortunately it meant we could hear all the evening entertainment in the pub below which went on till late. (We heard every word through the microphone, including bingo and karaoke singing) Unfortunately the hotel staff couldn't do anything about, although they did try. Had we paid less and had a smaller room higher up it probably would have been better which is a shame. But it was great to have the beach so close out the front door. "

"We stayed for one night. Plenty of parking spaces. The location is on the outskirts but you can walk into Weymouth town centre or catch a bus from just outside. The room was clean, comfortable and looked to have been recently redecorated. We didn’t use the health facilities, but there was a nice bar area and drinks were reasonably priced. Breakfast was buffet-style with a good selection of hot and cold food."
