"Sandy Toes was perfect for our needs. The location is very central to exploring the entire island of Eleuthera. You definitely need a car. Alan, on-site property manager was very helpful. The kitchen was well equipped. We did have a few power outages that are common on the island. Flash lights and battery powered light sources are helpful."

"A lovely stay, but make sure you have time on departure day to take all your garbage to the dump. Also if you plan to do laundry, bring your own detergent. There were no complimentary beverages in the fridge so make sure you stop and get stuff before getting settled because you are nowhere near a store. Very basic offering, no complimentary shampoo or conditioner either."

"The cottage was perfect, everything I needed and a great location. A 5 min drive to Twin Coves Beach which was my favorite beach. I snorkeled there everyday. Governor's Harbour is a great central location on the island. Theresa was lovely host and I enjoyed our conversations. Can't wait to go back!"

"The views and breeze were wonderful. The bed and linens very comfortable. The information packet provided made it easy to get around. 4WD for the drive and other roads is a must. We felt home away from home with the pups and would love to try to get them back with us. The house could use a few updates but was a very comfortable house. "Stayed here to be close to my parents’ rental just one house over (Sweet Merlot). Plenty of space for me and would be perfect for a couple. Nice porch views. AC worked well. Showers hot water heated quickly. Large book selection. Driveway entry is a little steep/ rough but not out of the ordinary for Eleuthera. Would book again."

"The house was beautiful to match the view. It was super clean and well-kept. It was nice to have items like beach towels and a cloth cooler to be able to use. It was easy to find and a perfect distance from Governor's Harbor. We were greeted by the owner, and she later graciously resolved an internet issue. She followed up later to make sure it was still working. In our opinion, this home is located on the prettiest beach of the island. We will certainly be coming back!"

"We last visited Eleuthera 40 years ago for our honeymoon. Yes, there have been some changes, however it remains a destination for unspoiled beaches. The Simple Life Cottage was the perfect place to experience this. Watching the sunrise in the morning and seeing a million stars at night. Magical watching fireflies in the nature landscape. "The cottage was spacious and clean, the bed was extremely comfortable. It has a small kitchen with a fridge, microwave and most importantly, a coffee maker. The porch has a splendid view of the water and Harbour Island. Wonderful place to have coffee in the morning and just relax. It's a 5 minute walk to dock if want to visit Harbour Island. The is a trucking company next to the property, so at times it can be a little noisy. If you're out and about during the day, you may not even notice it. I...
