"Frühstück frisch, vielfältig und gut"

"Nice beds, friendly staff, and decent breakfast. However, the visit was spoiled by the malfunctioning air conditioning in the middle of summer. There was instead a plastic fan avaialble which perhaps proves that the staff were aware of of issue. They did offer to see if they could place us in another room but that would mean re-packing again in the middle of the night, so we just had to put up with it. Really uncomfortable night with a 3 year old!"

"Unwashed cup in the room and empty shampoo dispencer. Pool closed for this "spa weakend." Hotel unable to provide a cooked breakfast and reluctant to offer a rebate. Premises dirty and staff surly. "Disappointing one night stop over. Its more of a business traveller, conference & private events venue than a country house hotel. Suite 15 is directly opposite the kitchen extractor fan which is on from before 5.00am until the kitchen closes at night & can easily be heard in the room. The room only had one bedside table & lamp, the glazed entrance is fitted with opaque glass & is the only window so there is no view. If you could see out you would be looking at the car park. "Hotel is a great price and is a little tired but comfortable and you have what you need for a stop over. Unfortunately chef took ill so couldn’t eat there but menu looked good. Instead they recommended the Dam Inn which was amazing food!"

"It was very spacious. Beautifully maintained. Room was lovely. Bed very comfy. Iron and ironing board. The Breakfast was gorgeous both mornings. Very good value. Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking fine. Interesting prom night when I arrived Friday. Very entertaining. Went next door to spa Friday night. Day pass for £15 pool and gym. Lovely."
