"We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home. "

"Everything was pretty much exactly what we expected. No major issues with the cabin, nice views, quiet location & dog friendly (huge plus!)It was the perfect size, they had plenty of dishes in the kitchen & some seasonings to use. A few pans looked like they weren’t cleaned all the way but we just rewashed them before use, no big deal. Huge dvd selection was awesome! Water pressure in the shower was nice & bed was comfortable. The only thing that could have used some improvement was the lighting...

"We had a wonderful week at this location. When we walked in the door the house smelled so clean and fresh! And it was clean from top to bottom! "This cottage was the perfect place for a weekend getaway in the Charlottesville area! It has a nice secluded feel and yet is close to wineries, grocery stores, etc. We were not bothered at all by the train or cars on 250. The house itself is even more charming than in the pictures with carefully selected touches for a tea room vibe. It was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Mary was very responsive to questions and all instructions were very helpful. I would definitely love to return!"

"Hotel location at the crossroad of highly popular roads made it noisy all day and night. To avoid if you’re sensitive to traffic noise. The room was just below the roof AC machine controlling the corridors cooling. It turned on and off every hour making the most horrible sound and trembling of the room. The staff admitted it but couldn’t help it. The breakfast was super limited and the cherry on the top is that you eat on paper plates with plastic cutlery 﫣☹️"
