"Simple living with a "front row covered porch seat" to view the lake. Spent the first hour of our mini vacation on the porch watching the rain fall and listening to thunder. "We had the most wonderful vacation in Lake Almanor Country Club. There is nothing better than being at the lake. Connie and Jerry were wonderful to communicate with. Their home was the best place we have stayed at on the lake. We watched a bald eagle, deer and the nightly bat show all from the amazing deck. We didn’t want to leave. Truly a special place. "

"We really enjoyed the spacious house, especially the several outdoor decks. However, we didn't realize that the house was located so close to the burned down area which looks so devastated.We found some very sweet areas to go swimming but definitely needed to drive to reach them."
