"This was a cozy cabin. The pond and cabin were perfect for a much needed family vacation. It’s close enough to Red River, the fish hatchery and Taos for you to drive to the more crowded areas of the enchanted circle. The fishing was fun. The cabin had a nice living room kitchen and front porch. This place has everything you should expect for a comfortable mountain getaway. "

"Such a fantastic cabin to stay and enjoy the area. A short drive East or West and you are into all that the area has to offer. The pond and small stream create a relaxing environment. Will hopefully be back with the family."

"So historic and wonderfully preserved. Fellow guests were friendly. The cats are the true ambassadors, handsome and cuddly. 9.30"

"For a skier, convenient lockers on premises just a minute walk to lift. The room temperature control is a bit funky, but I just opened an outside door to cool it down. Staff are very down-to-earth nice. Hope to come back next year!"

"We had an incredible stay at the VRBO cabin during the Red River Music Festival! The cabin was perfect—beautifully updated yet cozy, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It was spacious enough for our three couples to relax comfortably. The location was absolutely stunning, right on the river with breathtaking views, yet just a short drive to town. Overall, a fantastic experience that made our trip truly special. Highly recommend!"

"We loved the condo condition and comfort. We loved the area where it sits. It has an amazing courtyard, grill area, hot tub, game room, ice and washroom. The zip line and fishing pond were located right next to Auslander. It was a remote location yet so close to everything. We love it!"

"The property was beautiful and close to restaurants, museums, art galleries and shopping destinations. The courtyard provided a quiet space to enjoy flowers, birds, butterflies, and simply relax between activities."

"Husband & I stayed 4 nights. Room was good for just the two of us. Easy walk to historic plaza & shops/restaurants. Enjoyed sitting on back patio. Would have been nice to have a larger refrigerator than dorm size but worked fine for our drinks. Clean and had everything we needed. "

"Wonderful week at RRFE, and the peace of being outside of town and right on the river was perfect. Very clean property, but the sofa has seen better days. The sleeper mechanism has collapsed and it is falling to the floor. But we would stay there every time if available. "

"4.5 stars! Easy check-in, clean and a nice cabin. The highlight is sitting on the porch next to the stream, where we watched hummingbirds, chipmunks, ducks, and fish in the cooler temps of RR. My half star deduction is for the lack of something to put suitcases on and seating.Our belongings had to set out along the floors of the bedrooms. Only one bedside table, not two. (At least in the two smaller bedrooms, not sure about the master) The house sleeps six, (we had five adults), yet there is...

"This place was awesome-sauce. Tucked away from the action, but close enough to enjoy all the fun. And yes, the view from the outhouse is truly amazing - it's an extra thing, nothing you have to rely on:) It is a tiny home, but there was plenty of room for the two of us. The stairs up to the beds are a wee bit steep for those of us who are a not as spry as we used to be, but it was all quite doable. And they've worked hard to create a property with lots of fun touches. Plus, it's the first time...
