"Great and quiet place to stay"

Gracias! L. Venditto"

"The property seems quite old and could benefit from some updates. The bed sheets did not feel very clean, and the blanket was shedding material, which made it uncomfortable to use. There was also no bedside table in the room, which would have been helpful. With better maintenance and attention to these details, the stay could be improved."

"This place is great . Small private and cozy Exceptional "

"We stayed here during a family vacation and were blown away by this beautiful property that’s located in Bajos del Toro, a truly spectacular location in central Costa Rica. William, the owner happened to be there during our visit and both he and Viktor, his business partner, were welcoming and helpful - truly lovely people. "The couple who owns the place was very nice, accommodating and friendly. You have to pay attention when you first arrive, as the area is not marked very well. the beds were very comfortable and the view from the balcony was perfect. "

"Outstanding experience. We arrived in San Jose and wanted to catch our breath before our 3 hour drive the next day. Chayote Lodge was exceptional. Great view, very nice restaurant on property, comfortable beds and great sheets. Chayote, the canine greeter, is delightful. Lovely!"

"It is difficult to put my seven days at San Rafael Ecolodge into words, because even now reflecting on this experience brings tears to my eyes. In a world that often feels rushed and disconnected, this place truly felt like heaven on earth. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by Giovanni, Luis, and Thor, the sweetest dog imaginable. Their warmth, kindness, and sense of humor immediately made me feel at home. This is not an ordinary hotel stay—it feels more like coming home to family. As...
